Truly the LORD our God is one LORD:
Matthew 3:16-17:
"And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
Mark 1:10-12:
"And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness."
John 1:1:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
1 John 5:7:
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

Miho, just a question, how can you say this verse refers to the trinity, when the scriptures broadly proclaim, Hear O Israel the LORD thy God is one 1 Lord. The doctrine of the trinity was never taught amongst the Israelite prior to the Messiah, and fairly new popping up in the 3rd Century, 200 C.E. being coined by a North African Christian. The Apostles did not teach the Godhead as a trinity.
