Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven..... i believed that God refers to those who are truly hungered with the spirit of God. they are thirsty, and so much desired to know more about God that it caused them to be broken, meek and humble before God... they are those who truly strive to do the will of God. so passionate to know the attributes of God. yeah my brethren this is not about earthly things. It s all about God, it s all about heavenly things.. and i believed that God will truly blessed those who are truly seeking Him in spirit and in truth and desiring to die on their flesh. God will blessed them through causing them more to be poor in spirit, that will strive them more to do the will of GOD.

For us to enter into eternal rest in God, humility, repentance and holiness are very important. Pride is forbidden.

Katia's post from 12/24/2010 seems to get this right.
Fortunate are people who are aware of their need for communion with the heavenly farther for God will not deny them.

Blessed or Happy are the poor in Spirit, who having attained contentment, (as opposed to being poor in soul/body) theirs ( their state of mind, consiousness or inheritance) is the kingdom (with Jesus as King) of heaven. They are not consumed by the acquisition of wealthy things, (including: Fleshly lust, coverteousness, greed, Pride, envy, vain things Etc, but their care ( what they have realised) is in the knowledge and practise of the heavenly/Godly vitures, patience, humility, love, forgiveness, righteousness etc. They observe the hand and grace of God in everything and are Happy with it.

Katia's post from 12/24/2010 makes the mark. Blessed are those who know they are as God tells us, poor in our spiritual foundation, yet contrite of heart in understanding our need in the Creator God for all our needs.

Katia's comment on 2010-12-24 07:00:17:

"Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them." I love this scripture because it helps us to see that we ALL have a spirtual need but all are not Conscious of if. But those who are, they have True happiness.
