What shame. Pharisees got the answer they seek yet still not believe. We humans are blind by what we dont understand. Ye are not my sheep that is why you do not believe.

John 17:8 (KJV) For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

Great Scripture. And we can never forget John 17:5. The Glory which Jesus had was laid aside so that He could become God's Son & the Son of Man.

Looks like the trinity just exploded , all is well !

Amen! They are one Even as We Are One With Them As Well According to Jesus Christ The SON Of God John 17:22 (KJV) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

There can be no sin near God. As Jesus and the Father are one, in that moment a separation had to occur. Jesus TOOK ON, ALL sin. That sin had to be separated from God. The English translation for the word 'enkataleipo' (Greek) is abandoned or left behind. That sin had to be abandoned and left behind. Jesus, the man of flesh who took on the sin, was left behind. Jesus in resurrection of Spirit was not abandoned.

Mishael's comment on 2020-08-08 19:46:17:

Comment only: Jesus experienced the pain of being separated from His Father.

If we were more sensitive we would feel that too when we sin knowing full well that we are doing it.

A conscience that feels no pain is seared. just like a strip steak you throw on a burning hot skillet.

Jesus suffered through pain of separation for every human mentioned in John 3:16. All humanity: from Genesis to Revelation.

If. as Jesus revealed as a truth in the bible, also known as the GOOD BOOK, that "I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE" - John 10:30 - why would Jesus, as the only begotten Son of God, while crucified and dying on cross cry out loud: "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME?" Matt. 27:46

Jesus is god's only begotten son! we are children of god because jesus shed his precious blood to redeem us from the devil. jesus said, "i and my father are one." we can become one with the father, but jesus is already one with him! jesus is the great i am! when he said "i am he"...the roman soldiers went backward and fell to the ground! hallelujah! jesus is god the son!

God is Trinity. Example: My name is Harish God Let 's divide my body into 3 parts: 1 My head assume that it is 'Father ' 2 My body from neck to stomach assume that it is 'Son ' 3 My legs from stomach to toes assume that it is 'Holy Sprit ' All the 3 parts are different and it is linked. If any one part also is removed then I am no more Harish God . All the above 3 parts put together becomes Harish God . My Head Father controls itself and the other 2 parts. Note: Jesus said, "My father is greater than I. " Brain head Father is greater than any other parts of the body because it has control over all the parts of the body. I hope you understood the Holy Trinity.

Peter's comment on 2014-10-08 06:55:03:

As I understand this phrase, when Jesus spoke of his Oneness with his Father, he was describing His Ultimate Reality the Spiritual Essence at the heart of His Being. He was not making a special claim about his physical self, Jeshua of Nazareth. The Bible reports that he also said, 'All these things that I have done will you also do, and even greater things than these. ' Jesus is described in the Gospel as "God s Only Son ". God has one Son, not many. I don 't understand that to mean that Jesus was God 's Child and we are not. Rather, God has One Spiritual Child and we are all It. Our Real Identity is God 's Son. In other words, we are not many spirits, souls or bodies. We are One Spirit. In the Father, I am you and you are me. This explains why when I help another person feel happy, I experience happiness myself. It is why when I love my neighbour I am loving myself. These teachings are difficult if not impossible for our intellect to grasp, yet when we ponder them in stillness and in quiet, we may find that they speak to our Soul. Through meditation on the words, we may come to an appreciation of a truth towards which words can only point. We experience this as the peace which passes all understanding the Peace of God.

Joh 10 30,31 I and my Father are one. Are so united that the Father is pledged to keep the sheep of the Son. These words the Jews held to be blasphemy, and sought to stone him. Compare 8 52. Memo What Do You Think of John 10 30? I have the authority to give my life, and I have the authority to take my life back again. ... Judas Conspiracy for he has anointed me I and my Father are one You go, and do likewise. He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he .... understandeth believe the works that I do in My Father 's name, these testify of Me. understand

By reading some of the comments, I got a much better understanding of who Jesus is. All three are One God.

Olwethu's comment on 2014-05-28 08:49:30:

Jesus is the spokeperson in God house. He is the High Priest of God house from eternity. He is God in flesh. Jesus in not the Father and He is not the Holy Spirit, He is the Son of the Living God from eternity. If God The father is Jesus and Holy Spirit is Jesus, the whole bible is not Holy. In Hebrews Chapter one God the Father is declaring his Son as God. So what more do we want from Jesus The Word .

Florence Abraham's comment on 2014-05-24 10:47:27:

I use to have a pastor who is a brigadier general in the army, he is also a doctor. I have seen him in his army uniform as a general, I have seen him in his lab coat during an operation and of course I have seen him countless times in suit on the pulpit. If you take a snap shot of him in these three different outfit, you will have three different pictures of the same man. You cannot separate him from any of those jobs. That is my picture of the trinity, God the father, son and Holy Spirit have always. .been together at creation in genesis 1 2 3, Baptism of Jesus In Matthew 3 16 17 and in the great commission in Matthew 28 19. there are one.

Jesus words at John 10:30 have been clarified completely by John 17:22. Their oneness is by purpose and not by Godhead, as what the Scriptures completely described.
