Hello again Eric. I would ask for your forgiveness if what I wrote seemed impersonal by just throwing Bible verses out to you. My intent was only to share what I know to be true, as I love you as a brother even though I don't know you. When I first saw your post, I couldn't help thinking that you were searching for something and I truly want you to find the peace that only Jesus can give.

Eric, your name (unless it is a pseudonym) indicates that you converted to Islam. I may be wrong, but I mention that, so I could know your position, the country you hail from & more importantly what questions specifically you would like answers to, so I can properly answer. Pauline has given you some very special portions of Scripture reminding you & me of God's great love for all of us, no matter our religion & stage in life, & also of God's Gift of Salvation through the sending of Jesus Christ. However, since I have had some Muslim friends in the past when in Pakistan, & done studies in Islam, your questions become very important to me, so that I know how I should answer you. So, please detail your questions.

ERIC: For God so loved the World...that's everybody. Everyone has the same opportunity to draw close to God who created all we see and know. Set aside your religion for a time and explore who God says He is.

The Bible is spiritually discerned for everybody; whether Jew, Gentile, Greek, Palestinian, or middle eastern descent. It will be hard to understand until you ask God the Father to help you read it. Start in the gospel of John, chapter 3 verses 1 to 8. That's where Jesus tells you that you must be born again to understand the spiritual. Verse 3

This is how we all started. You can't sit on a fence between Muslim and Christian. I will only say that Eternal Life with the God of the universe comes through Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15: 1-5/ Romans 10: 9-10

Matthew 10: 32-33

What kind of person would I be to lie and not tell the truth? I had to walk this road too. I'm telling you this is the way. Joy unspeakable.

Pauline Howarth's comment on 2020-04-18 20:37:01:

For God so loved the world (this means you) that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

But God demonstrates his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried and that he rose again on the third day according to the scriptures and that he was seen of Cephas then of the the twelve and after that about five hundred brethern at once. For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is a gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. John 3:1-8 tells the story of Nicodemus where Jesus tells us we must be "born again".

I pray that you find the way, the truth and the life !!

The word of the lord herein was for the past, is also for the present, and foreshadows things yet even future. His word like himself is awesome, past finding out.
