The Law is a schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ. Sin in its true essence is constantly at war against our spirit. If not for the law to remind us ,confronting us , we would not come over and over in repentance. Thus then is the schoolmaster!

A child must fall down several times while learning how to walk. These are the lessons we go through as born again in this new nature, learning to come unto that place of reconciliation, through the blood of His dear Son! Reconciliation, through the forgiveness of sin, a marriage, as in any relationship, there must be forgiveness.

As sin is our nature, Christ forgiveness is ours forever in its true essence. As long as we breath, and are alive, His promises are never ending. We cannot escape from sin. Believing that if not for our failures, could we recognize our condition? This is why we are reminded to pray, too pray without ceasing!

Very true Donna and thankyou for that reminder . David was a man who loved God very much . He also commited quite a few sins and although he was totally forgiven by God , David's sinful behaviour had huge ramifications in his own life and in the lives of many of his loved ones .

GOD is amazing! Isn't it wonderful how the HOLY Spirit will speak to each of us & several times to several people about the same thing. Hours before you posted. I was praying for people. In my spirit I was reminded about: Matthew 25:31-46, though I had forgiven people many wrongs & praying for "church leadership" of a place I used to attend & volunteer much with. GOD reminded me they still have consequences & so do we. It changed my prayer.

Not long ago I went through several years of difficult trials. I learned many valuable conclusions. How many people can & are affected by 1 persons sin. How society is affected by 1 sin & multiple sins also sometimes resulting from another person's sin. For Example you have a parent abuse then abandon their family. Society then either surrounds them with love, protection, support, or rejects, blames, shames. Then you have employers not pay individuals for work completed, or only pay a portion. James 5:4, Leviticus 19:13, Making it impossible for the worker to pay their debts. Families that after death of parent leave responsibility to poorest, weakest sibling, widow, widower. People ignoring their children, that vandalize other's property. Political corrupt choices, appointing unrighteous Judges, or police, making Courts biased & unjust etc. All of these sometimes 'simple' choices have tremendous affects on society.

Thanks for sharing, I hope my comment is welcomed

Starting my day with Ecclesiastes 11. It's a short beautiful chapter.

I wish young people (&old) could grasp the concept that whatever sins they do now, even though they repent, will still bring consequences to their lives. God is not mocked, we will reap what we sow. This is a reason to turn away from sin and NOT commit that sinful act in the first place.

Just as the serpent came to Eve he will come to you and tell you that God will forgive you, and God will forgive you if you repent, but the action will still bring consequence just as it did to Adam &Eve in the garden of Eden. They were "ashamed"when God came down to speak with them. They knew what they had done. God forgave them right?

But there are many consequences for sinning that can change the course of your life. Sin will always take you farther than you want to go and keep you longer than you want to stay.

Obey the Lords commandments and save yourself and all around you a lot of pain and heartache. Our sinful choices don't only affect us but others that are watching us. Just as doing the right thing encourages others to do the right thing. They are too watching.God bless!

We do not forget the past nor shut the door on it. Remember where we came from to not repeat the past.

Luke 21 v 8

They have been saying that the Coming of Christ is imminent for many years now even setting dates . They say this because they really do not understand the bible , but follow men's fabrication s of the bible .

Many things must happen before the 2nd coming of Christ that have not happened yet .

Read Mathew 24 and Luke 21 carefully .

2 Thessalonians

Verse 3 don't be deceived .

Joshua's comment on 2020-08-22 12:48:01:

When we read the whole chapter, we see the context and truth. Look at the very next verse: "Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: FOR CHILDHOOD AND YOUTH ARE VANITY." This is great example of how foolish it is to take a single verse out of context to mean anything we want. We do not have the Spirit of Christ if we do that.

Look what God tells us when we read the final 2 verses of Ecclesiastes - He literally tells us our ENTIRE duty as men and women.

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

How easy it is to miss the truth when we take a single verse out of context to mean whatever we want.

It means to rejoice to the Lord with all your mind ,body and soul all the time. For the Lord has the power to condem you to enternal Hell.

Young men has to do what is right before them, do what their heart leads them to do, mean that for our body is a temple of God, he want us to serve him with all our heart. for he says love not of this world, for if you love the world u dont love him..

Balungile's comment on 2014-06-27 00:31:30:

It means that God loves us so much that he wants us to enjoy ourselves as young people but in everything we do we should consider Him and have fun in such a way that it wont harm others.
