In Ephesians 6:11 it reads: "In whom we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. God counsel himself. The only other beings present at man's creation were angels. "Hear O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD." Deuteronomy 6:4.

Genesis 1:26 and 11:17. God spoke:

LET US

Either he was talking to himself or.....

He was speaking to the Word

Speaking to the Holy Spirit

You wrote all that untruth for what?

I just read your comment. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world and received into glory. God did this all by Himself. God was manifest( made visible in the flesh of Jesus Christ). He is the Father of creation, the Son ( his flesh) in redemption; and the Holy Ghost in the church. The idea of a triune Godhead is not found in the Bible. Read Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 43:10-13; St. John 1:1-14; St. John 17:6; St. John 8:21-24; St. John 14:9-10; Luke 24:44; Colossians 1: 13-16; Hebrew 1:1-4; I John 1:1-3; Revelation 1:13-20; Revelation chapter 5. These are only a few of the scripture that validate the Oneness of God. God has many names and many attributes. He appeared in many theophanic forms in the Bible. But His greatest revelation to man was as the Man Christ Jesus. Jesus is His Saving Name. Jesus is God. God is Jesus. From Genesis to Revelation, there has only been one God, One Spirit, and One Savior. Ephesians 4:4-5 tells us that there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. One God and Father of all...God does not have three personalities in His head. God is our savior; and He loved us so much that He was willing to die for us and rise again for our salvation. What an awesome God that we serve!

JAYTEE's comment on 2014-10-12 17:18:32:

no GOD Spirit Jehovah was manifested in the flesh. The new translation say He was manifested... King James says GOD. If you look at three into one trinity youl get troubled. YHWH was there came and wear the body of JESUS. Too much explanation based on carnal thoughts.

Viviane's comment on 2014-10-05 19:43:21:

The first time i saw this scripture,i knew is was a deep revelation from God and i find it after listen to a preacher who was saying that God was not wrapped in the flesh, instead he was saying that Jesus was wrapped in the flesh, but not God.i was so confused that day and like usually,i asked for my Lord to show me the answer, first,my Lord took me to John 1,1 14 and then he took me to 1John4,1 4 and then to tim1,16,where i finilly found the mystery of Godliness, the same day i ask to speak with the pastor for clarification, but i was not able to speak to him, they didn 't let me speak to him.so i call another preacher of the same church, who told me that the godliness timothy is talking about is Men,that became like God,i asked twice, that what you said,he said the scripture was not talking about God,but Men made in the image of God.but is simple, why are trying to twist the word of GOD when is appear so real.God was made flesh,by jesus our Lord, and the spirit of God was in him,so he was God made flesh.this scripture is a revelation for those who still think that Jesus Christ is not one with God,and thanks for Annette, who just open my mind again, which Isaiah 9 6 who explains again that God was made flesh trough Christ.

Jesus is god mainifested in flesh. God prepaired a body for himself to reconcile the world unto him self. In Isaiah God said he would not share his glory with anyone else and that there is no God formed before and after him. That there is no savior besides himself. That he crerated the heavans and the world alone and by himself. That he is the beggining and the end. In Revalations Jesus says hes the alpha and omega, the beggining and end. That he will be our God and we will be his sons. Thus the trinity is robing God of his glory. Jesus is the everlasting father, the mighty God. For there is no other name given unto man for us to be saved Acts 4 12

Disputing 1 Tim 3:16 is an evidence of the strtgles that started between Sarah's son (Isaace) & Hagar's Son (Ishmeal). Jesus said that he is God - Mat 18: 20- claims to be Present everywhere, John 10 :30-33 - He is one with the Father; therefore he is God. John 14 :7-11 - To see & to know Him is to See & know the Father. John 10 :5-8- He uses the title ' I AM via Ex 3: 14. He clain to be King and final JUGDE Mt 25 vs 31 -46

Steven Samson's comment on 2013-09-18 06:36:36:

I believe 1Timothy 3:16 as "G-d revealed in the flesh. eg. Isaiah 9:6 where Jesus is referred to as the "Mighty G-d", Revelation1:8 Jesus is the Alpha & Omega,(The first and the Last) which can only applied to the Almighty G-d. and the "Almighty G-d" in the same verse is applied to Jesus. See also Genesis Chapter 18 where one of the three men is Jehovah.C/F John 4:24;5:37; Coll. 2:8-9
Good for discussion.

For the person who wrote "who", what do you do with Isaiah 9:6. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be on his shoulder and his name shall called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Almighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

God was shown in the flesh, Jesus was filled without measure with Gods Spirit, thierfor he never sined, the angles seen, brought the new covenant to save the gentiles also, many believed and his spirit in a new body was taken up in heavan . Jesus isn't his own father its God in the Father. its God in the Son, and its God in the Spirit

Doug L.'s comment on 2013-06-13 22:09:30:

Christ is GOD. There should be no doubt! The explaining away and changing of words by modern scholars has corrupted the new bibles and caused many to weaken their faith. The older versions - KJV and older are correct!!! Modern teachers who want to change this version and older translations are wolves in sheep's clothing. Just like Satan attacked the Word of God in Genesis 3 in the beginning, so too the modern scholars and teachers are doing the exact same! Woe to our unbelieving mondern day churches, they are lukewarm and out of touch with the fact that God's Word is absolute truth - infallible. They have lost their faith in the Word of God.
