John's comment on 2015-02-17 08:14:22:

those of us who have passed on in death prior to the coming of Christ will not live again until the 1000 years have passed, which is the lst resurrection

Ranman's comment on 2011-08-27 14:23:53:

Don's comment is correct and incorrect. He is correct about the addition in the first part of v.5--the rest of the dead are resurrected at the beginning of the 1000 year reign of Christ.
His comment regarding there being no 1000 years in the future, because it has already happened, is incorrect. The 1000 year reign of Christ is marked by:
1. Beast of Rev 13 being cast into Lake of Fire (Rev 19:20; Dan 7:11)
2. 1st Resurrection of believing Saints (Dan 12:2-3; 1 Cor 15:50-55; 1 Thes 4:13-17; etc...)
3. satan being put in prison (Rev 20:1-3; Isa 24:21-22)
4. Saints judging during 1000 years (Rev 20:4-6; Ps 149)
These are but a few examples of Scripture that say otherwise.
Send Him back soon, Father.

don's comment on 2010-11-30 05:02:12:

the first part of the verse is added and the 1000 years took place after christ was crucified
there is no 1000 years to come
