John was in the Holy Spirit praying on the Lord's day, the first day of the week when he entered another dimension and was brought into the revelation of Jesus and the Day of the Lord.

The Lord's day is obviously the Sabbath day (Saturday)for Jesus says I am also the Lord of the Sabbath confirming that he was party to its creation from the beginning. Sunday is not the Lord's day. In any case his resurrection may not have been on this day to carry that title as those who went out to witness found him not rising but already risen and probably the rising had occured end of day saturday.
