According to Strong's Hebrew Lexicon, "Jah" is a shortened version of "Jehovah". The name "Jah" is rendered 48 times elsewhere in the King James version as "LORD". The name "Jesus" means "Jehovah is salvation".

1 Timothy 2:5-6 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."
