This means Satanic decrees shall not prosper as long as the righteous ones are concerned

Verse 5 says, " As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways.... " Being a Christian is not a luxury cruise. Remember God chastens those He loves Heb 12 He prunes those who bear fruit John 15:2 and He purifies us in the fire to purge us from sin 1Peter 1:7 . Consider Christ who was beaten with rods, yet He endured for our sake..........

I do not know to much about this verse To my understanding the punishment of the wicked will not come on the righteous God has separated us from the wicked. Now if the righteous put forth their hand unto wickedness then I should think that we are putting our hands unto iniquity. And also if the rod of the wicked is put upon me that it would cause me to put forth my hand unto iniquity. Only what I think God is saying. Holy Spirit will open my heart to know exactly what is being said here . It is probably so simple

It simply means that the oppression of the wicked must be destroyed so that the righteous' faith in God can remain strong and intact.

This is a awesome verse, and this is the confirmation to God's word about it. Read Isa. 55:11. be bless.

Simplistically, it says:"God defense (favour) is always around those who fear Him and He secures their possession against the plans of the wicked, so that the righteous should have confidence in Him.
