I believe that media plays a part in optical mental infestation media implants suggestion, ideas, fuels motives , and causes dissonance between humans. I believe that this may not be a result of chance, but engineered to provoke certain sentiments and enhance separation among this worlds ' citizens .

This scripture is not God talking. It 's David promising God everything he is going to do bc he is about to become king...

I believe this verse is straight forward and doesn't leave much room for confusion. If a person truly wants to be a follower of Christ, anything that leads a person away from God's principles or distracts them away from God, would be something that they shouldn't want to have anything to do with. Human tendency though is to get as close to the line of sin as possible without crossing it, but should be instead to stay as far as possible from that line, since it's there for our protection not to prohibit us. Of course it comes down to our personal choice, but just don't kid yourself, God will not be mocked and we will ultimately have consequences for our choices, so choose carefully because our choices not only affect us but everyone else around us also. Personally I believe that media, has been the main tool that Satan has used to lure people away from God and to destroy the family.

This verse helps us to see that whatever might damage our clean conscience and our relationship with Jehovah is for us a good-for-nothing thing. We also would never want to stumble anyone else

I think Rodney made a good point" we can't throw out our Tv's but we should watch what we watch. I got first hand has I watched the music industry and it seem like it cleave to me. I felt sorry that they were so lost but I didn't realize how much I constantly worried about what I say. But the Holy Spirit made it clear I am to stay out of such places because " It is a place of demon's and unclean spirits! They have chosen to have money over the love of God!

This speaks to me of the age of media we live in. There is so much garbage on tv these days. We can't throw our tv or our computers out and live in the dark, however we should be so careful as to what we watch. I meditate on this scripture a lot because it is a great battle for me to stay holy.
