Tom, I don't own the KJV by Thomas Nelson, but was able to download a NKJV by Nelson to have a peek in it. In that one, Gen 1:2 does show the Spirit with a capital 'S'.

I saw where the kjv study bible by Thomas Nelson doesn't capitalize spirit like other kJ bibles in Genesis 1:2, I wonder why?

2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these ALSO resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, REPROBATE concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and seducers shall WAX WORSE AND WORSE, deceiving, and being deceived.

Adam's comment on 2020-09-22 15:04:55:

Does anyone else worry about the United States as a country?

I don't wish to be negative, because just like Phil 4:8 says we should be positive. But I think we should also keep our eyes open, be on guard, and wear the armor of God. Matthew 25:13. The Bible talks about the rampant evil of Sodom and Gomorrah and the violence, the lust, the unnatural sexual relations, and probably any sin imaginable being committed 24/7. And when I think of the US I see the same thing occurring. The trend is the mainstream culture embracing the same evil. Anything and everything evil is deemed 'good' to them and 'progressive' and 'empowering'. We are now seeing open terrorism and violence in many of our cities which is allowed by the corrupt mayors. We see DAs bought out by donors and told to release all criminals. We have states releasing much of their criminals from prison back into our neighborhoods to commit more oppression on innocents. We see open rejecting of God and Christianity, even persecuting Christians in public. We see open homosexuality and giving them special privileges beyond anyone else. We see false gods being elevated that part of culture seems to worship. We see media pushing propaganda and lies to deceive people into falsely assuming things and hating each other. We see people preferring lies over truth and disagreeing on what reality even is just like Romans 1:25.

Where will it end? Is God preparing to severely punish the country for its evil? Will it tear itself apart and fall just like other big countries in the past? Is this a sign of the end times?

Ralph, Malachi 3:1 Behold I (Jesus) will send my (Jesus') messenger (John the Baptist) , and he (John) shall prepare the way before me (Jesus): And the Lord (Jesus) whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his (Jesus) temple (I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you) , even the messenger of the covenant (Jesus), whom ye delight in: behold he (Jesus) shall come, saith the Lord of host. Matthew 3:1-3 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea. (vs) 2 And saying, repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (vs) 3 For this is he (Elijah) that was spoken of by the prophet E-sai-as (Isaiah), Isaiah 40:3 saying, the voice of one (John) crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord (Jesus), make his (Jesus') paths straight. May the Spirit grace you with his understanding.

Arthur's comment on 2020-09-21 01:09:06:

And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.

9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.

10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.(Mathew 11:7-10)

Ralph Jr and Sarah Mutchler Mutchler's comment on 2020-09-20 20:15:52:

I had asked a question about the verse read in: Malachi 4:5; earlier of who would be the Prophet to come that is called: Elijah. I do believe that Elijah, was Jesus Christ. Because the name: Elijah, means a miracle worker and God is. Amen.

Ralph Jr and Sarah Mutchler Mutchler's comment on 2020-09-20 20:01:46:

What prophet will come before the Lord comes for his people, that is call Elijah? Read in the KJV Bible: 4:5?

Dejvi Kadivnik's comment on 2016-01-20 09:56:23:

We Cristians need to always keep in mind that what we need is not always what we want. God knows our needs even if we do not. And he will fullfill our needs throught Christ to show His glory, not to fullfill our personal desires.

SAM we can not blame God cause we have 3 cars we can only drive one at a time. So decide which one you want to fix first cause everything that is made of man gives us a warning before it breaks down. But my God shall supply all your need, according to his riches in glory, by Christ Iesus. We need to know first what is God riches in glory, so we much first have to do something as Christians to obtain his riches in glory. Then your house if you do what you can and believe God he will supply all of your needs.read all of Matthew but Matthew 6:31-34--- Trust him I know

Quinn's comment on 2015-03-03 09:26:45:

All our NEEDS . It doesn 't say all our wants .

Sam's comment on 2015-01-04 10:28:41:

God must not have too many riches in glory to supply my needs because He isn 't. Either that, or He is so rich and disconnected up in his heaven that he has no idea what it means to have 3 cars all needing work, while my old house slowly decays because I don 't have the money to fix it. Also, no guaranteed, reliable income as I am self-employed and working 3 part time jobs besides. Not impressed. Also, grew up a PK in the fundamentalist baptist mindset.
