sacrifices are meaningless when there is no mercy! we will sacrifice all that we have when we have mercy or love in us!

I think Jesus wants us to reflect on what mercy is in action as well as attitude. He shows us an example of non judgemental, mercy. His or Matthew 's mercy gives the ignorant sinners education and acceptance and love the healing ingredients to move forward and grow.
