Charity or helping other should be done in secret ,than it is accepted in the house of God.Otherwise you have got your reward by getting praises of the person being helped.

I love Matthew6:1, I believe that if you know who you are in Christ Jesus ,then you shouldn't have to'showboat' for anyone else. Besides God's Holy Word tell us that whatever we do, do unto The Lord. I love and don't mind helping others out, However ,I don't need to shout it from the roof top that I just did whatever I did for so and so
