Rebirth Scriptures(Born Again): John 3:3 KJV., John 3:5-8 KJV., 2Cor. 5:17 KJV., Mark 16:16 KJV, Titus 3:5, Romans 6:4 KJV., 1Peter 3:21 KJV.

Acts 2:37-38 KJV., what Israel(Jews) must do. Acts 10:44:48 KJV., the Holy Spirit(Ghost) given to the Gentiles(Greeks). In verse. 8, Peter commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord(Jesus Christ). Jews and Gentiles were baptized by water in the name of the Lord(Jesus Christ). Acts 15:5-9 KJV., question at issue(Gentiles being circumcised). In Verse 7 Peter is speaking Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. In Acts 2 Peter used the keys(Jesus gave him the keys in Matthew 16:19 KJV.) first for the Jews, and in Acts 10 second, in the house of Cornelius for the Gentiles)(but Paul was distinctively(plainly) the apostle of the Gentiles, Gal. 2:7,8).

Paul speaking(1Corinthians 15:1-10). Not only being filled with the Holy Ghost, Saul/Paul was baptized with water in the name of the Lord(Jesus Christ).

Saul's/Paul's Conversion: Acts 9:17-19 KJV; Paul's Defense before the multitude: recounts his conversion. Acts 22:11-16; Paul's defense before Agrippa. Acts 26:9-18. In verse. 18, that they may receive forgiveness of sins(Romans 3:23)

1 Corinthians 3:5-8 KJV: 5. Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6. I(Paul) have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase(Holy Ghost) 7. So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase(Holy Ghost). 8. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

1 Timothy 1:1 KJV Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope. Think about this, what is the father's name on a Birth Certificate? What name is the child born into physically? See 1John5:1-20

KJV., being baptized in the name of (Jesus Christ): The Foundation

To be saved you must repent. Live repentance. Baptism is an outward showing of spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ. One can be baptized by a preacher but still may not turn away from sin and live in repentance. Being baptized by a man is one thing, being baptized by the Holy Spirit is another.

Many (different groups)argue and debate this but if you read the Bible Jesus speaks specifically on this. The KJV Study Bible also includes commentary on the subject.

I find baptism to be very important for personal reasons. Feeling a literal washing away of sin through water. Though, the Holy Spirit will baptize your heart where no water can touch.

Be baptized and live repentance.

Your gift is much needed in the prayer request room. Don't go away.

Speaking as an old street minister/ evangelist from the 80's... God still works through us.

I didn't go to college or seminary! I Have been in the school of the Holy Spirit for the past 35 years! He teaches me everything He wants me to know.

All I have to do is sit still and Listen.

Psalm 63:6, proverbs 8:34

I'm not going to get into testimony now. I'd rather talk about the Holy Spirit. Come over to those who seek help from God; who need someone who can pray with wisdom and discernment.

Harold Willett's comment on 2020-06-22 21:46:13:

This will be my last review comments what ever you'd like to call them but the Trinity has meaning I don't see most understanding either. Especially when it comes to baptism. In the name of? Well what's that mean? Use Common Sense when you ask that question. If I tell you tell so in so such in such it's done in the name of my kid what do I mean? Do I say this is done in my kids name OR do I say this is done in the name of Harold? In the name one 1 Father God his son Jesus and the who? Holy Spirit. No one days there names when baptizing. In the name of God our Father his son Jesus Christ and Jesus his Holy Spirit. If you understand how to Pray then you understand how to baptized in his name he already told us how to. He didn't need to write it out as I have because he already gave all of us the gift of Common Sense although satan has begun to strip that away from many of us as well hasn't he? I'm Always willing to come speak to others anytime if I'm ask and I do everyday in some sort of fashion and I enjoy doing it. You see when people know your real and not a judgemental person they'll listen to you. Social Media is such a simple way of being a witness. God always finds a way for us to do his will especially when he enters a thought of what he wants us to do and we don't do it he find another way. Like me I've tried to ask others to let me speak at there church or some gathering and they won't allow me to do that mainly because I don't have a degree in religious studies and that's satans excuse there giving out. They try to say it's God but deep down they know. It's called being afraid of what someone else might say not having a single bit of Faith and many pastor's are like that and I'm so sorry they are because God has to jump through all kinds of hops since many don't listen to him. But he gave us all our own free will and he never messes with that he just takes a different route. Do Christian's go to heaven and mixing the Bible with you life is a book I wrote.

The Name of the Father, Jesus said, I manifested thy name John 17:6 I declared thy name John 17:26 What name did he manifest declare. In my name ye shall. Mark 16:16-18. As he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent Name than the angels. Hebrews 1:4. We all inherit our names from our Father, but that name was kept secret in the old test. The angel of The Lord had that name in him. Ex. 23:21 My name is in him. Judges 13:18 seeing it is secret. Luke 1:31. The angel said thou shall call his name Jesus. Isaiah 12:2 Jehovah is become my salvation, which means Jesus. The mighty God. The Everlasting Father, his name is Jesus. Jesus said no man know who the Father is but the Son, and to whomever he will reveal him Math. 11:27. Pray the Son will give u revelation.

GlennFrazier's comment on 2015-04-12 12:32:19:

My Bible tells me that all that I do in word or deed must be done in Jesus Name. So therefore Baptism is a deed, and must be done in Jesus Name. jesus is coming back for a Church that is called bu His Name, not Titles.

James's comment on 2015-02-03 03:34:13:

Why can 't we just do everything the 1st disciples did. God is and will always be a mystery for many things. Just do what they did and don 't rationalize and put God in a box. It 's very simple that way. Everything you do, do all in the name of Jesus . Please and thank you.

Isa. 9 6 says "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given and the government shall be upon His shoulder and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The EVERLASTING FATHER. The Prince of Peace. My comment is this If prophet Isaiah did not mean what he said wrote, then he is a false prophet. A false prophet had to be stoned to death in that time. Since he did not get stoned to death, it means that Isaiah was a true prophet of the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob Israel . Everlasting Father is just ONE Person. Therefore, the Son Jesus Christ has to be the same Person as the Father.

STEPHEN's comment on 2014-10-14 08:44:34:

jesus spoke with his apostles, forty days after he rose from the dead.Jesus spoke of matthew 28 19,the apostles went forth and baptized in Jesus name.Jesus has to be the name of the Father,Son,and Holy Ghost or the Apostles did not obey what Jesus said.

Aaron's comment on 2014-10-05 18:41:15:

The correct way to baptize is clearly written in Matthew 28 19. In the name of the Father, The Son, ant the Holy Spirit. Their is one God and this One God is divided in 3. Since the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is one, that explains the "NAME " part of the scripture. We are to mention all three because we take the example of when Jesus himself was baptized. He was the Son, the Holy Spirit descended on him, and God spoke over him. This includes all three. Many people say we must baptize in Jesus name, which is wrong. They refer to the scripture in Acts 2 38 that says to Repent and be Baptized in The Name Of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. But many don 't know that the word "baptism " or "Baptize " is used 3 different ways in the new testament. In Acts 2 38, the word "baptize " is referring to the baptism into the Body of Christ also found in 1st Cor. 12 13 by accepting God 's gift of salvation by Faith Ephesians 2 8 , Confessing that Jesus is Lord, and believing that God raised him from the dead Rom. 10 9 . Other verses saying that they baptized the name of Jesus did not mean literally baptizing in the Name of Jesus. Since the disciples were preaching the Name of Jesus, they used this phrase which meant "In authority of " because all authority was given to Jesus Matthew 28 18 , and Jesus ' command was to baptize in The Name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said go and baptis then in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Bt i always see pastor and other leader baptising people in water. Am amaized.

Armando Godina's comment on 2014-06-22 09:28:14:

The Father,Son,HolyGhost, are only titles of the one and only God who 's name is Jesus. No power in titles. Only in names is there power. Try using titles cashing a check. Uncle, cousin, husband. It won 't work. Only my name gives that check validility. Likewise, only the name of Jesus makes baptism valid.!
