Nkosinathi Ngulube's comment on 2015-10-01 15:14:49:

I strongly believe that the grave could not hold the Lord of the Sabbath in equivalent manner that the sabbath could not pass by with the authority still held by a defeated death. He rose on the Sabbath for He is Lord over it.Bear in mind that since it was a high sabbath, And sign of Jonah being 3 days and 3 nights, Christ could not sleep a fourth night by not rising before 6pm of saturday evening. This is an evident exhibition of God's power at work, revealing and supporting that He is indeed the Lord of the Sabbath.

James Kimpson's comment on 2013-03-14 08:56:59:

It says that the 7th day of the week, Saturday, is the Lord's Day; not Sunday which is the first day of the week. People err in referring to Sunday as the Lord's Day. It is not biblical. Also, there is no biblical evidence that the Sabbath was ever "transferred" to the first day of the week.
