Looking back I wish I had kept a running tally of all the prayers that God had answered. I know The LORD is listening and he is very active in our lives. Thank you Jesus.

Concur with Joseph Kirianki comment. Also since prayer is talking to and with the Lord, it keeps our eyes, heart, and mind focused on Him and His purpose for our life. Since we can only look at one thing at a time, it prevents our eyes finding temptations to detract us, like blinders on a horse.

Prayer is a master key to overcome temptation. Jesus fasted and prayed, when the temptation came, he overcame.

Unless I pray I will fall into temptation and or a snare I must also be willing to resist that temptation !! A temptation is something that I we really really want to do.it is not a sin to be tempted it is sin when I yield to the temptation and go with it. There is power in prayer. God will go with me all the way.

We cannot overcome temptation in the realm of the flesh but in the realm of the spirit. Prayer strengthens us an helps position us better to deal with the struggles of life scripturally.

Series of prayers help to overcome temptation. For somebody to succeed in this sinful world, there would be temptation, but prayer helps to overcome. For somebody to pray and pray through, flesh must be put into the control of the Holy spirit that is, it must be disciplined. Just like Apostle Paul.
