The first thing to notice in that verse is who is speaking. It is God who was manifest in flesh, God who cannot lie,. It is the one who can do for us exceeding abundantly above all that we are able to ask or think. The One who has promised and purchased eternal salvation for all who believe in Him. If we keep this in mind how can we not believe this promise also. When the man in Mark ch 9 asked the Lord "If you are able have compassion on us and help us. "The Lord answered "9if you can believe. All things are possible to him that believeth ". The man said "Lord I believe , help thou my unbelief. " This too is my prayer.

Let your heart not doubt the power of prayer. Believing takes faith and patience. Some prayer take a little longer to be answered. But God does answer all prayers. Sometimes He may not give us what we ask for, but what we need.

I think that it is a great promise of God & that he DOES give everything we ask for and believe that it is already answered.
