I respectively disagree with Wesley 's notes. The mention of 'your Sabbath ' is by no means the name or title of this Sabbath. This verse indicates the weekly Sabbath of the week which is the seventh day of the week, Saturday which begins from Friday sunset and concludes Saturday Sunset. Prior to roman influence on the calender the days of the week began and ended the same way from sunset to sunset. The mention of 'your Sabbath ' refers to the Sabbath being a sign between humanity and God and the Sabbath was given to all of mankind. The Resurrection and the Sabbath have no connection to each other, this idea is man made and not supported by scripture. What we find is that scripture informs us the baptism is in remembrance of the Resurrection.
