My Lord and my God! how can we know thee the same way the apostle John knew the savior? How can we come to this saving knowledge, that none seek even today! The glory found in our redeemer, full of grace and truth. Can we sit at His feet and learn the absolutes of His majesty? Will the power that resides in His word fill us with absolute certainty that He is our creator and redeemer? Show us through thy word how to overcome this world in spite of our flesh! Oh, our mighty God , be merciful toward this untoward and thankless generation. Create in me a clean heart oh God, and renew a right spirit within me! Cast me not away from thy presence and restore unto me the joy of thy salvation.! Oh God ,have mercy on us for Christs sake. AMEN.I pray this for all who believe ,that like John we would bear witness to this light! The church today have fallen victim to a one world theory,(called evangelism under the guise of mans new imagination of what Gods word really means). Its not hard to understand how Jona felt when God sent him to an unbelieving country. In the midst of an unbelieving, work righteous "church going people". Its not that which goes into a man that defiles him, its what comes out. Our salvation resides in nothing less then the shed blood of Jesus Christ, words I rarely hear anymore from our so called evangelists!

That service was kind to mine and Julies heart. I pray that all our church family is doing well and just know that we are all praying for them. Our Lord is Great and we shall prevail through this event. I sincerely look forward to seeing my church family again in our full glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. We love you all and just know our thoughts are with you.

Luke 17:4 - a lot. This shows the level of forgiveness you are you give to others, otherwise we won't be forgiven. Matthew 6:14, Mark 11:26

I'm really enjoying slowly reading the book of john.the first verse explained a lot of things I couldn't put together the first verse started in the beginning was the word the word was with God,the word was God, genesis starts with in the beginning God created the world than jesus talking to his disciples said I am the word, the truth and the light.which I believe jesus was with God in the beginning (genesis)which helps me understand the trinity father, son holy spirit all in one jesus is -God.

it is as it is. He was, is and will forever be with God.

Gregory Dameron's comment on 2014-12-03 15:11:41:

It definitely seems as though the Holy Spirit intends to convey some deeper truth by repeating that Jesus was with God in the beginning but,as of now I have no clue what that deeper truth could be.

i thnk alot of information is hidden in this statement..it seems to echo the first verse..as though to provide emphasis or even a new mystery...to God be th glory for his wisdom knows no end
