I was just trying to answer a question.

If you think about it, Nathanael got written into the Bible. That's a blessing.

Does it matter who was first? I was millions of years past the first and I don't care, as long as I was chose.

John 1:13

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein (1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' (John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution (Acts 7:48; 17:24) a few hours a week does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ (Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters (Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived (Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive (John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you (Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ (Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14).

Lora, CONCERNING THE WORD "MYSTERY"

I agree with you, the mystery of God is complex.

I do not agree with you concerning the "mystery of godliness" as it pertains to Scripture you provided, being God Himself. I believe it concerns the Son of God being born of woman (Isaiah 7:14). Jesus is the One spoken of in 1 Timothy 3:16 and the One promised in Genesis 3:15

I agree with you, Jesus is the way to salvation.

I, however, must disagree with you that God is Jesus and Jesus is God, and again will state that I believe Jesus never came claiming to be His Father.

Jesus came as the personification of the Words of the Father John 1:1-2); and His authority came from the Father; and He lost none of His Father's sheep (John 17:12)

But Jesus is not the Father.

The word mystery only occurs in the New Testament.

The word "mystery" is the Greek word "musterion" and basically means a "secret."

There is more than one "mystery" spoken of in Scripture.

There is the mystery concerning the DURATION of time of the blindness of Israel (Isaiah 6:9-10, Romans 11:25).

There is the mystery concerning the kingdom of God which was revealed in parables to the general public, but explained to the 12 Apostles; (Matthew 13:10-11, 1 Peter 1:10-12)

There is the mystery concerning the fact that "we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed" (John 11:25-26, 1 Corinthians 15:51, also look at Philippians 3:14, 1 Thessalonians 4:15, Hebrews 9:27)

There is the mystery of iniquity and lawlessness that is connected to MYSTERY BABYLON of Revelation 17:5-7, (look at Daniel 8:23, Daniel 12:4, Matthew 22:4, Acts 2:38, 2 Thessalonians 2:7)

There is the great mystery or secret concerning the Gentiles being co-heirs in the body of Christ, which was only revealed after the second rejection the King and the Kingdom by the Jews in Acts 28:17-31. This is the secret that was kept secret since the world began and what is being spoken of in Romans 16:25-26, Ephesians 3:1-12, and Colossians 1:24-27.

THE GODHEAD EXPLAINED's comment on 2020-07-20 18:45:31:

Write these scriptures in the back of your Bible. This comes up frequently.

The GODHEAD:

Father, Son, Holy Spirit

Acts 17:27-30

John 10:30

4 Events when the Godhead spoke to each other concerning a matter:

The "LET US" scriptures"

Genesis 1:26

Genesis 3:22

Genesis 11:7

1 John 5:7

If your Bible has center of each page, columns; read the scriptures it lists for those verses. It widens the information, or sometimes mentions a prophesy. You'll discover many gems of wisdom that way.

Greg's comment on 2020-07-20 10:55:24:

Adam,

Yes, I have read John 10:30.

The word "one" is the Greek world "hen" which is neutral, and means "one in essence", not one person, which would be the Greek word "heis," which is masculine.

You have picked one Scripture out of the Bible to prop your belief up on without putting it in context, look at (John 10:22-29).

Again, what do you do with all those Scriptures that says God and Jesus are two different entities?

Adam's comment on 2020-07-20 10:01:18:

Hello, have you read this?

John 10:30

To me, while there's some separation because of their names, it says they "are one" that means they are one and unified as a being or entity. Therefore Jesus is God too. He has the powers and checks all the other boxes of a divine being but is not God the father. I personally don't know how this verse can be interpreted any other way. In other verses it shows them unified with the Holy Spirit too so that's how people come to understand the concept of a trinity.

Andrew Kingsley Raj

How is Jesus God?

God is God.

Jesus is the SON of God.

When Jesus called His Father "God" He was referring to Psalms 22, which He was teaching to the people present there. He was not complaining.

Jesus was NEVER forsaken by God.

What do we do with all Scripture that speaks of BOTH the Father and the Son? Matthew 11:27, 16:27, Mark 8:38, 13:32, Luke 1:32, John 3:35, Galatians 4:6, Hebrews 1:5, 1 John 4:14, etc. etc. etc.)

Scripture does not say "In the name of the Father, the Father, and the Holy Ghost." Matthew 28:19

Andrew Kingsly Raj's comment on 2020-07-19 06:29:50:

Jesus Christ is God.

The Word was with God and the Word was God. John 1:1

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

Christopher's comment on 2020-07-19 02:58:04:

Jesus christ is the words of god

I think Jesus is the Word also. Look at 1st John 5 and Revelation 19:13rnGod Bless

The One that Made the world ( The word Himself was in the world ) The world could not recognize Him( The Word)

Leigh's comment on 2013-12-07 17:59:58:

Yes Jesus was a man who was touched in everyway of the temptations of the flesh yet with out sin. For he always did those things which pleased his father. Made a little lower than the angles , through obedience was made perfect and became the Author of salvation .

Margarita's comment on 2012-12-14 16:38:23:

It breaks my heart to no end when I see that people who know the truth of who God is, are still today rejecting Him by their evil deeds. Rejecting the Great Mighty and Wonderful God that made us and all that is in this world. God who stooped down from heaven and became a human being. One day, He took all the ugliness of the world to the cross, as our sacrificial lamb, so we can learn how to live again. Yet the people still Crucify HIM ALL DAY LONG! But one day Jesus will come back so we can live in eternal peace.. Amen!
