Elijah was a man like us subject to temptation, but I strongly believe that he did not yield to the temptation of sin. The same Elijah said Scripture says 2 Kings 5:16. But he said, As the LORD lives, before whom I stand..... So, I would rather say that Elijah was a man like us, faced with the same temptations that we face, but was a man who gave himself to personal fellowship and communion with God. He had a right standing with God so he could decree things and have it established.

Elias was a man subject to temptations. He was not so spiritual he was subject, i.e. he could be drawn away by lustful passions but he prayed and it did not rain. Because with faith, all things are possible.
