we should therefore call upon him in times of distress, believing our father will hear us knowing that his mercies for us are new every morning.

This scripture confirms that we can go boldly to God in prayer without being in fear of a just and merciful God. I am free! Through the blood of Jesus.

Prayer does work if spoken with a sincere heart. This scripture encourages free and open communication with Jehovah God. One bible translates it "Let us, then, approach the throne of undeserved kindness with freeness of speech ". Though we should pray to go all the time, this scripture highlights the need for honest prayer when in time of distress. This scripture helps me to see that I need to be specific in my prayers, and really let Jehovah know what I need, and the. Jehovah will fill in the details and provide me help at the right time.

In Hebrews 4 16 we have a beautiful invitation to come boldly to the throne of grace. Literally, draw near with confidence to the throne of grace. Again, it is important to note that our confidence in drawing near to God is not based on how well we are performing. This invitation is for believers on their worst day. As a matter of fact, the text reveals that this invitation is given in the context of weakness Hebrews 4 15 and failure Hebrews 4 16 . Notice that we are first coming to the throne of grace to obtain mercy. We need God s mercy when we blow it! When a believer sins, he doesn t need to doubt whether or not God will receive him. Because we a sympathetic high priest who is ever living to make intercession for us, we can come without hesitation and without reservation! Cr. James Hollandsworth
Tim George's comment on 2014-09-21 03:24:48:
Jesus is our great high priest who has passed into the heavens. He is seated at the right hand of the Father making intersesion for us because He can be touched with our weaknesses for He was in all points tempted as we are yet He was without sin. Therefore let us come boldly before the throne of grace to receive mercy and grace to help us in our time of need,

The grace of God is all sufficient for us. Once we continually fellowship with God intimately we can grow in his grace. His grace is readily available to us and this scripture I believe clearly tells us how we can obtain it.
Olabode's comment on 2014-07-04 00:36:33:
Grace is God 's unmerited favor. It is kindness from God we don 't deserve. It was grace that qualified Paul I Timothy 1 15 He referred to himself as chief of sinner. All born again christian, it is through grace we obtain mercy. To ask and receive something from God, it is through grace.

Our perfect sacrifice JESUS CHRIST invites us into HIS presence boldly believing HIS promises, trusting on HIS finished work and the strength we will need in times of trouble.

No matter what you are going through or how bad the situation, keep your eyes on the throne. not so much as the throne itself, but who is sitting on the throne. (Jesus Christ).

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Thank you very much for your add. I need your prayers for me, my family and our work for the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord is about to be celebrated By Christmas in our church. I need your prayers for widows (25) and orphan children who are in my Church. I want to buy the clothing and BIBLES distribute them to those widows, and children. Therefore, please pray for the love gift for this purpose. With love in Christ, I am prayerfully looking forward to your prayers. Jesus tells us in Luke 2:11 that the harvest is great and the laborers are few. This scripture further tells us that we should pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Convey our best greetings to your families. Thanking you, GOD BLESS YOU In the Name of Jesus Christ. Yours in Christ Pastor Kurapatie Yesudas Peravaram/INDIA
