In Genesis 9:3 it is written that: "I have given them to you for food, just as I have given you grain and vegetables." But you must never eat any meat that still has the life blood in it. If a wild animal kills a human-being, that animal must die. I hope this answer helps you to better understand. God Bless!

Doesn't something in your spirit kinda twist your gut when someone says people don't need the gospel to be preached because their name is in the Lambs book already because of pre-destination?

What if....(I love that game) heaven lost your reservation and your luggage?

Why did Jesus tell his disciples to go ye??

Mark 6:15-20

Who told you about Jesus? That you are a sinner that would bust hell wide open if ya don't get saved?

The Holy Spirit doesn't do it the same way every time.

Proverbs 11:30> the fruit of the righteous is a Tree of Life; and he that wins souls is wise.

Killing an animal is not a sin, as long as it is killed for food & not for sport or for a trophy. Animals, along with plants have been given to us by God for food. See Gen 9:2, Ex 12; Jn 21:12,13; Acts 10:9-15 are some examples.

God gave us animals to eat. Most societies make us get permits to hunt on state or federal lands. Find out the laws or ordinances in your area.

Is killing animal a sin

Tess's comment on 2015-02-04 11:11:25:

I believe after we chose evil rather than live in Paradise with God we had to find our own food, and killing and eating an innocent animal was an innovation of the barbarians to feed themselves. In Paradise, food was everywhere without any killing to be done. And when Jesus returns the "Lion WILL lay down with the Lamb " and no more killing will again occur. Cultivating fruits, berries, nuts and vegetables takes love and care. Hunting destroys another living creature which gives evil pleasure. I believe a great deal of the bible, but I think we need to always consider the context in which it was written and by whom. What perspectives were at the time. These were hunters that wrote "God said I can eat the animals too. " Jesus taught us to seek His peace and cause no harm, share love with one another. I believe this extends to all living creatures. After all, Jesus liberated women from inside their homes to follow Him to the hills and streets, which went against the current norm. I measure any writing to the teachings of Jesus. He came to save us all....ALL God 's creatures.

Anil M. Jesus himself observed the passover feast, which had lamb as a main course. God also required the death of animals to atone for human sin. True, this wasn't a part of the perfect earth God created, but when sin entered the world, things changed. Don't make the mistake of getting caught up in the politics of animal cruelty. People, not animals, were made in God's image. Yes, we shouldn't be cruel to animals, but you can't ignore that the scriptures make it clear that we rule over them, and one of their main purposes is for food.

i dont believe a compassionate jesus would allow meat eating! This has probably been modified later by writers to justify meat eating as per their choice!
