Thankyou. Merry Christmas. Peace Be With You.

Chris's comment on 2020-12-25 05:26:47:

In my understanding, the examples of 'God' in Genesis 2:2, is in the Hebrew, 'Elohim'. This word has a number of meanings & applications, as referring to the true God, or gods, or judges, rulers, etc. Here in Genesis & elsewhere where it's clearly in reference to the God of Heaven, then the word means that God is defined as Almighty, Everlasting & Unchangeable One.

When we look at verse 4, 'LORD God', the Hebrew is 'Yahweh', which defines Him as a Personal, self existent God, the Author of all things, gives expression & effect to His Plans & maintains a relationship with His creatures. So, in using the 'LORD God', or 'Yahweh Elohim', we learn of the fullest expression of Almighty God. Now why the writer has deemed it necessary to use the different Name of God in this context, I cannot tell as there seems to our understanding some inconsistency in their use throughout Scripture.

As far as John chapter 1 & the 'Word of God', here we see that this God ('Theos', a general word for God) has expressed Himself by His Word ('logos', a speech, a Divine utterance) & also by His Spirit (as in Matthew 3:16). So God has always existed & never changed throughout eternity. But at the appointed time (Romans 5:6), God sent out His Word, giving His Word a body of flesh, for the purpose of bringing God's Message directly to His people (just as the prophets of old did), but this time to do what the Law couldn't do (Romans 8:3). And that was the giving of the ultimate Gift to man: that God in the flesh (Jesus) would Himself lay down His Life for His people's (& our) redemption.

Dave's comment on 2020-12-24 23:21:01:

Why does Genesis chapter 2 begin with GOD did then Switch the name to The LORD GOD? Later GOD is referred to as The Word. I'm aware John 1 refers to the WORD and GOD being the same. Why does Genesis 2 change names? Is GOD and Lord God refering different aspects or just interchangable names before Jesus became flesh?

i thank the lord for his great and marvellous providences to all mankind and animal kind

through his spirit leading, I came to realize there is someone up there somewhere who controls the whole universe

without him there would be no existence of our being. I really appreciate the God who understand my every single moments each day when I doubt or when am blunt conscious of my own ways.

please lord forgive and give me the strength of mind and lead me in the way everlasting

may God show me the way to eternal life. God bless his children forevermore

Janice Lane,

Angels are described in Scripture as having light associated with their appearance or presence; Acts 12:7, 2 Corinthians 11:14, Revelations 18:1.

Again, I stated that Adam and Eve were AS angels of light; because they had not at that point in time sinned yet. They were as pure as a human could be. I never said I read that in Scripture.

I stated that the covering that God put on them MAY have been actual skin. I never said I read that in Scripture either.

Janice L Lane's comment on 2020-09-13 11:25:39:

I accept that you did not say they were Angels of lights. But a lot of times when (as) is used in this manner it seems to, imply that a fact is being stated. Example: As the owner of the house, he/she may pick the style of decoration. But if you want to show simular traits you would use the word (like). Example: Like the owner of the house, the tenant may pick the style of decoration. This is why I thought you were stating a fact instead of making a comparison.

As far as the animal skins, I have heard that from preachers over the years. And for my education, where did you read in the Bible that Adam and Eve were as/like angels of light with God putting on them human skin after the fall?

Richard's comment on 2020-09-13 09:35:58:

That is a very good and truthful verse. We who live by faith & trust, in the Lord, flourish in keeping our peace. I'm sure all of us in Christ love you brother and you have our prayers. Also sorry to see you go. I myself will not argue with someone else but will try to plant a seed, of the Lord, whenever possible. As it is the Will of God if it grows or not. God Bless you Carleton!

To Carleton's comment on 2020-09-13 09:27:47:

You have to follow the leading of your heart, but you will be missed! There's always going to be attacks against anything that Jesus is involved in. Having done all, to stand. You and your precious family members, stand strong; know, that God goes before you.

Paul traveled, on foot, to many places. Spent over a decade out in the desert, alone with God. Learning, moment by moment, the beauty and majesty of the Lord Jesus. His infinite wisdom and care of us. Receive that love. We must not look upon the unraveling of the earth and it's inhabitants. All these things must happen just as it is. This is the hard part that Jesus said we must endure; climb on top of that and give praise to the Lord. What beautiful songs that He has given to you to cheer yourself in times of sorrow. Never stop singing. :)

I always tell myself, that the Lord will undergird and undertake the way ahead, when we are burdened in our souls. "All Souls Are Mine!" Saith the Lord. You are safe and secure. Commit your way to Him and He will lead you forward with His eye.

Just like Paul, return to see "how it goes" with those that you planted in. I pray that the Lord will be with you every moment and strengthen you.

You know I love to tell of Ezekials bones? If we speak to the bones in our lives, they will rattle about; and then they will stand up!!

An amazing army of people. Prophesy to the bones.

Peace be with you, Mishael.

I will see you again....

It will sad to see you leave brother. We have enjoyed your fellowship in the Word & heartened by your sincere pure love for the Lord & His people. May the Lord bless your life, your service to Him & encourage your spirit. Till we meet, whether in this life or in His Presence.

The Lord just spoke to me clearly in this scripture below, so I must leave this website. I love you all that are in this race to the finish, in Jesus Christ and his Life eternal. Comfort one another and be Lambs with the true revelation of the harvest field. God Bless you in your faithfulness! Stay true Mishael!

This is the scripture:

Exodus 14:14

The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.

Dear Andy, I am not interested in your chapter 23 false gospel.

Andy G van den Berg's comment on 2020-09-12 07:50:08:

The gospel you believe in is after man, as you follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ (Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

The gospel which is preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was i taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:11,12; Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1).

Seek, and ye shall find (Matthew 7:7).

In His Service.

Chris's comment on 2020-09-11 23:28:46:

Your answer typifies one that doesn't believe in the existence of God, nor of His Love in sending His Son as payment for the sins of those who repent & put their faith in Him. This would all be gobbledegook to you. So, it would be meaningless to you when a person who has been arrested in his spirit by the Spirit of God, made conscious of his sins & of being hell bound & through repentance has received a new life from God, speaks of such things as factual & not fanciful. The Bible records, as do Christians from past generations & present, that God is real & true & that He does intervene in their lives in very clear unmistakable ways. We have proven God's interest & activity in our lives, whether as a result of prayer or just in being His children walking on His Earth, to our complete satisfaction. I can't even begin to relate accounts of Divine intervention & help, when ordinarily things would have gone pear shaped.

Your opinions are appreciated, but in truth, you're expressing them in a medium that is full of current testimonies of God's Love & Faithfulness. But if & when the time comes, as appointed by God, for His revelation to come to you, you can be certain that that experience will be so overwhelming that all your beliefs & ideas will be cast out, as you see the One Who came to give His Life in your stead. But this can't come from your reasoning but from conviction in your spirit. We pray that you will be led aright in your earthly sojourn & that this God Whom you reject now will manifest Himself to you in a very special & specific way.

Richard's comment on 2020-09-11 23:23:48:

Hello sir. So the beginning of your statement has "I think" in it. So I would say that's nice instead of saying "I know" like a lot of other people do. One other thing at the end of your sentence that "God has never been shown to answer prayers". This is not true. I am just one living proof that God does answer prayers and can work miracles. And there is much more living proof in this world. God Bless you.

Contact the housing authority in the county you live in. The website may give you some ideas of which office to speak to.

See if you can find someone to. Ourselves you considering age, disability and employment if you are still working.

Some cities have hotlines like: 311, 211

Main thing is to calm yourself so you think about problems logically and with purpose.

There may be a church near you who will have someone who can counsel with you.

Repair your relationship with the Lord (use 1 John 1:9 as often as something comes to mind.) And ask him to give you ideas for your situation. Be still and listen for His Voice. "My Sheep hear My Voice"

Satans voice accuses, confuses and breeds fear. Learn how to talk back: "I rebuke you, Satan, in the Blessed Name of Jesus!" Get thee behind me, satan! Resist the Devil and he must FLEE!! Worship the Lord and Him only!

Keep it up and get your center back. Tell yourself, Fear Not. Make a plan and then follow it.

Call 1-800-700-7000 and let the ladies pray with you. Every day if you need to.

ElectricWarrior's comment on 2020-09-11 20:32:52:

I don't think there is a god to answer you're prayers, either that or he/she/it does not care or has no power, or the will to help people out. This probably is not helpful to you but it kind of underlines the need to build a better, fairer society for us all rather than imagine that it will all be better if we just trust in a deity which has never ever manifested itself in the natural world and has never been shown to answer prayers.
