"Life" also translates to Soul`s. When I read it I think,maybe the far east. The people in Vietnam almost lived on the water and raised the fish.

In this verse: GOD gave man everything that has the breath of LIFE. "BREATH OF LIFE", This takes you to man not having complete control over EVERYTHING THAT GOD has created. "THE FISH" - do not have the breath of LIFE.
