Galatians 6:17. The statement by Paul: let no man trouble me I guess that is what should be explained first

Hebrews 2.7 says, "Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels". Exegete's believe the usage of the word "little" means " for a little while", or simply to rephrase, "Thou hast made him for a little while lower than the angels! Jesus said "if you've seen me, you have seen the Father! God is a Spirit. No one of the flesh has ever or will never see him! Jesus Christ is the "Word" incarnate, made in the flesh. John 1. 1, and Jesus is therefore the "eternal living Word of God"!

Most of all I believe that before he was made flesh, Jesus (the Word), counciled with the Trinity and agreed to become a sacrificial offering, a blood sacrifice (God's covenant with man has always involved a blood sacrifice for sin!

Jesus is the image of the invisible God and for a little while , 33 1/2,years in the flesh, was a little lower than God because to satisfy Gods justice for sin, make peace between God and man and to bring us back into a right "relationship with Our Father in the Spirit, Jesus had to lower himself to be that sacrificial offering , a lamb, the lamb of God! Only God could do what Jesus the Eternal Living Word of God did! Die for the sins of the World AFTER HAVING LIVED A SINLESS 33 1/2 years in the flesh!!!

Galatians 6:14

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Read Galatians 6:15-6:18.

The Christian's glory must bear the marks of the body of Jesus Christ in the cross, in their own bodies. If we glory outside of these marks of Jesus Christ we are glorying in our own marks from the world or in the world.

It is interesting that Paul writes in the cross instead of on the cross and it is purposeful. In the marked body of Jesus Christ is our hope and eternal life. His life was taken on a cross and his Body bore the marks of the cross yet His suffering was for our sin and our hope and our lives.

It is in this suffering, in the cross, where we can glory because it is here that we have been freed from our bondage of sin and death.

Jesus Christ is our beloved Savior and grace and he will bless a Christian's Spirit.

Gal. 6:17. The mark of the Lord Jesus is the greatest thing that can happen to anyone. Paul overcame the beast in Melita Island because of the Lord's mark. I love this verse.

Gal.6 17, is simply saying touch not, afflict not,and keep off, for the mark of the Lord Jesus is a coverage over me.

I asked The Lord what this verse meant. He said that Paul meant his physical situation but that as the Bible is a spiritual book, everlasting, all written in it must be read spiritually. He said that in our times marks of the Lord Jesus represents the suffering we undergo for them AND the Holy spirit. To be exact; as the Holy Spirit is our comforter, marks of the Lord Jesus represents the HEALED wounds of our suffering for Him. May you all be blessed and always remain in Christ. Jesus is Lord.

The mark of the LORD JESUS; is d best tatoo that anybody can have, is the presence of GOD not jst a mark.

kolawole Stephen's comment on 2013-11-17 21:50:14:

Literary, what Apostle Paul meant here is his physical in capacities, that is, the physical mark he has bore because of Christ (Gal 4:13). Paul had this chronic eye problem when the light from heaven flashed his eyes., and as human he was forced to say "hence forth let no man trouble me for I bear the mark of the Lord in "my body". " It was more of likened to when we have so suffered for something and somebody is coming to frustrate the effort. We can angrily say , please don't disturb me for I have come a long way and have suffered a lot to get here. "Kolawole oludare stephen"

Because I confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior, the Spirit of God Almighty lives within me. Since Jesus, my Savior has overcome this world, I, her follower have also overcome the world. By His grace, I have authority to overcome all the power of the darkness or the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus.
