ROY THOMAS's comment on 2014-02-02 11:50:13:

This is the language of the God who is a God of judgment. He knows the evil occurring in the cities and in the hearts of men. No one will escape the punishment that follows sin. "I will kindle a fire on the wall." He will do it. Men are like grass. Their bodies can feel the pain of oxidation. They die like grass. The eternal God will bring them up for judgment. He is the resurrection. No one will escape. On the wall there might be a whore house but from the whore house on the wall of Rabbah to the white house of the palace the judgment will fall and the whirling winds will herald the beginning of the end.
