1 Peter 4.17
The first judgement begins at the house of God .
What will be left of it in the end ?
Repent while you can .

I believe this is in context of Christians being chastised for the wrong doings and it shall be in our bodies upon the earth. Please consider Icor 11:30. This portion is closely related in the context of Pro11:31

Judgement will start at God house. Will christians be judged based upon sins or labour? If upon sins our sins are forgiven and forgotten as the East is far from the West and I will remember them no more. So which judgement is that?rnrnThanks rnrnRui

I believe God is most likely talking about believers who are living a hypocrite life yes, they talk about God but their heart is far from him, they only give lip service.God is warning them to repent of the hypocrisy behavior before it 's too late.

I totally agree with it ' because I think the righteous ' the ones proclaiming to be righteous, and in God 's house should be judged first, although God already knows who we are, and he said in his word that he is coming back for the church, u And those that reject God, or reject the Good News of God, he too will be judge accordinaly '

When Peter said if it begins it begins with us, is he talking about the church or elders?
1 Peter 4:17.

Greetings brethren.
I think Peter addressing the Jews, believers and non believers, talks about the house of God( the temple in Jerusalem). The temple was destroyed about 10 years later.hence, he wasn't contradicting our standing after salvation.
