He made his bed and had to lay in it for a season anyways.the bed of thorns would soon be his way of seeing he was wrong .and needed his heart turned back to god fully

This verse shows that we have to be careful about whom we chose to associate with because if they do not have love for Jehovah God they could turn our hearts away from him. Solomon allowed his many wives to turn him away from serving Jehovah with a complete heart.
