It is vital that we take care of the temple of the Almighty God, which is our physical body. Discipline in every area is crucial and essential, diet proper and balance nutrition help to keep you healthy and vibrant.A little exercise to keep the body tone, especially the midriff area. Paul the Apostle is of course speaking universally concerning our entire being been a testimony of discipline in purity, holiness and balance in total surrender and obedience to the Holy Trinity

It 's all there. Even though one is called, you can lose yourreward, eternal life, through lack of discipline. The Bible even speaks of giving such people over to the devil so that, while thier body would be lost, their soul would be preserved. You can 't live is you want, and make it into heaven. Holiness, without which NO MAN shall see God

Billy J. Manuel's comment on 2014-01-13 05:40:48:

I might become a castaway through neglect, rebellion, or apathy toward my Lord and my God. However, His word does not become useless regardless of the vessel containing it. Some of the proof of election to office holder is endurance through suffering for the word, not losing faith in the midst of fiery trials, and not allowing foolish thinking and talking to cause us to blaspheme the vital Holy Spirit. It involves clinging to that Almighty hand in spite of every physical, mental, and spiritual attack that might make those persons who are not truly committed to the Lord begin to turn back to the ways of the world (like Lot's wife did) due to disillusionment, discouragement and hungers for things God's people have divorced themselves from. Thank God that Jesus never became discouraged and He will not forsake those who remain true to Him through every trial. "Even a broken vessel has use to God if it is clean."

Bottom line is
you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you through the spirit god has given you.the word says let this renewed mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus phil2:5 also you can speak in tongues which stenghens the inner man
by apply this word your body can be in subjection to your mind in a great way. Gods way John 4:4 Worship God in spirit and Truth

I'm sad because my body ( in the area of eating) is out of control at times. I fail , at times, miserably in this area and at times am successful, but I wish that I was successful all the time.
