Where in 1 Corinthians chapter 17 does it say marriage isn't for everybody?

Steven James's comment on 2015-01-25 16:43:19:

The preaching of the cross is the gospel. As he Paul states: Lest the cross of Christ be made of not effect. The answer for all the problems of life and living for God are found totally in the cross our faith must be put squarely in Christ and in Him crucified. none of our works can justify us only one thing justifies. Just as if we never sinned. and that 's faith in Christ and Him crucified. put your faith in nothing you can do or say to justify you, to live for God correctly is putting your faith in Christ and Him crucified. The cross of Christ. And what he accomplished there at Calvary.

Timothy Wayne George's comment on 2013-03-19 18:59:44:

We are saved by the Cross of Jesus Christ. It is true that we are saved past tense, being saved present tense, and will be saved future tense. The Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but is the power of God to those who are being saved. We will be entirely sanctified at glorification when we see Jesus. We were justified at salvation when we placed our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ at the Cross. We are being sanctified by the power of the Holy Spirit presently. We preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and the Greeks foolishness. Yet to us, it is the power of God, unto salvation. So thank God for the Cross of Jesus Christ, and let our boast forever be in the Cross of Jesus Christ.
