When a single verse, Paul telling us not to divide into opposing groups following different leaders. "A group of people forming a distinct unit within a larger group by virtue of certain refinements or distinctions of belief or practice" Gets so many different interpretations, being filtered through our own beliefs and prejudices, how is this even possible.

"Estimates that there are currently 47,000 denominations." all reading the same bible. I try to keep it simple for my own sanity. As Paul said, "For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." that is not up for debate in the true church ( assembly) For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Maranatha!

The passage speaks to each of us to listen to what the other believers views are, so that there can be no selfish considerations or monopoly on ideas as to what scripture says, but rather an earnest desire for truth within the entire body for the edifying of itself in Love through the Spirit.

we have to be on one accord in order for the Holy Spirit to perform GOD 's will in our lives. We need the Holy Spirit in everything we do in this life. Working together brings so much more result. In Genesis 11 6 GOD said, Let us go down "

i like that verse, however it is telling me that we people of God, shall know that the Lord does not tell me the meaning of a scripture. and then tell someone else a different meaning. if it is that way, we cannot all say one thing or think one way. every one knows that Jesus was born of a virgin. and it is what everyone that i know believes and says and thinks.
