Garment is for coverage; it beautifies a man; it brings joy, confidence and self-esteeme.
Thus, Joshua went through hardship because of his filthy coverage, sin. Matthew9:16-17.
Thus, the angel came to cleanse him and put on him a new garment(identity) and he became God's own image.
