I agree with the comment above, people in high places especially, ignoring the teaching of the Bible and placing themselves as a higher authority think themselves wise, as God states are become fools.

This passage is indicative of our society. There are so many people today who MAJOR in trying to put themselves at the top of the heap while stepping upon other to do so. As they speak words of condemnation to the ones they are trying to appear smarter than, they show themselves to be fools.
