Rev. Autrey's comment on 2014-05-21 11:25:53:

Verse 9 "And they sang a new song with these words 'You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were killed, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. ' " In the Book of Job God speaks of himself as our redeemer or the one who ransoms us by saying through Job, "God will be gracious and say, 'Set him free. Do not make him die, for I have found a ransom for his life. ' " God was speaking of the time when he would set the whole human race free from sin. So if Revelation 5 9 speaks of Christ as our redeemer or ransom maker, it means that God and Christ are the same. In other words, Christ is the personality of God by whom he saves us. There are two other personalities of God, too the Father and the Holy Spirit, but God does not save us through them. This truth was known by God 's people in the days of old, but has been lost to us now. But knowing this will set us free from Satan 's lies, and give us an understanding of the person of Jesus that will truly make him our friend. What I am saying is, please do not reject Jesus as our God and Savior, our salvation is at stake. May God bless you!
