What an excellent example of complete Trust in Our Lord and His Saving of those who Love Him. If we are here during The Tribulation, we are in His Care and will not be harmed.

A few interesting observations on how God preserved people through Tribulations .

Noah was taken through the flood , not spared the flood . yes He was righteous and obeyed God and built the ark .

Daniel was taken through the Lions den , not spared the loins den , Yes he was righteous and trusted God . survived it unharmed .

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego , they where righteous and chose to Honor God and would not bow to the Nebuchadnezzar image , they where thrown into the fiery furnace , where not spared the furnace but where preserved through it .

I can say I have had a few experiences like these because I trusted the Lord Jesus at the time . Not quite as dramatic as these examples , but just as deadly they could have been. So yes God works this way today and in the future .

Trust Him the only sure way ...

you mentioned the parable of the ten virgins , Id like to mention after much reflection on this parable ;All believed that The Lord was coming and went out to meet him . But wisdom is not knowledge , but rather How you live or do not live , in other words your WORKS . So the wise lived well and had the fruit that remained . Apostle Paul mentioned about laying up in store a foundation to endue the coming day . My real point is as the Bible says often , BE A DOER , NOT A HEARER ONLY .

Thanks may we all go on by Gods Grace

Amen and Amen Sister Kay:

Concerning the tribulation of some in other parts of the world, and possible here in the USA.

There go I, but by the GRACE OF GOD.

GOD'S WORK'S are past finding out.

God Bless You!

Kay's comment on 2022-05-02 08:53:03:

As far as being 'worthy to escape' - that doesn't necessarily mean 'escaping' out of this world. Some commentators say this verse refers to the believing Jews who escaped the destruction of Jerusalem. They heeded Christ's warning, and when they saw the armies of Rome amassing, they high-tailed it out of the area!

Other examples of 'escape' -

The three Hebrew children 'escaped' - AFTER being thrown in the fire! Their being kept IN the fire WAS their 'escape'.

Noah 'escaped' the flood...but he endured a lot while building the ark and weathering the storm!

Peter 'escaped' Herod by an angel on time - but had to survive being arrested, just the same.

We have been, are, and will yet be kept from many harms...but other tribulations appointed by God, we must endure, knowing that IN them and THROUGH them, by God's power, we 'escape' danger to our souls.

We so want physical escape; we so want to be spared troubles. That's natural!! No one wants them! Yet, Jesus said that the tribulation will try EVERY person!! Peter told us about the 'trying of our faith', and not to be amazed at 'FIERY trials'. These are the very things that prove if we have true, saving faith, and if we have it - these purify it! In a way, it's a blessing to be tested here, and have our faith tried, so that we ourselves have the confidence that it is real and true and of God!

None of us in the US have been in TRULY fiery trials. HARD ones, to be sure, but fiery...not so much. Why do I say this? Because I've read Foxe's Book of Martyrs; I've read about what, i.e., Chinese Christians have, and do suffer...or what Christians in Muslim countries endure and......oh brethren...we haven't suffered ANYTHING...yet. Let us cry to the Almighty for strength, that no matter WHAT He sees fit to bring us through, we will rest ON Him and in Him! Amen! HE will uphold us by His grace! He has promised to save us to the uttermost! Let us trust on Him no matter what!

Hi all siblings. Today I came across some words that Jesus says in Mark 13. See in the passage The Son of Man comes verses Mark 13:24-27

We must all understand now i think, we are in this time. But there is no consolation: for it is getting worse.

Here I ask you all to be careful. Ever since my 1st day as an adult Jesus saved. Have i thought that this promotion has rubbed something terrible in my heart and ears. Something that is clear and should be for everyone is the following:

When Jesus comes, He will not kill us first. He wants to take us home to Him, right? Then those who live will be promoted! When Jesus tells as Matthew 24:12 writes, it becomes an explanation of what will happen when He returns. If we read this in its entirety, we will see the passage of the Son of Man Matthew 24:29-31

Then Jesus tells afterwards that one is taken away and one is let back. See this dear friends. Do not be fooled by anyone who has received great revelations about this. Someone has changed these sections. We chosen righteous will be with the end. But in the end, He comes as we wait. Then someone joins up to heaven. Only those who have Oil on their lamps.

We live in that time for the mark of the beast and have done so for a long time see Revelation 13:15 to give breath to the mark of the beast.

When we talk about TV and internet pc also further. I just have to say from my place: Have we not become quite strangely addicted to this vivid picture? I know of fine Christian Believers who sit in front of the TV screen every hour of the day! It's a shame, but they calm it down it's innocent. That's it not! They sit at home in their own living rooms and get scared, fearing all sorts of strange things. Agree with this: Does not such a thing take us away from the Lord?

Another key thing: Why did Jesus say it was accomplished when He had to give up His Spirit on the cross? Stay blessed in Jesus Name.

Simplebeliever,

I'm sorry if I am misunderstanding your post, but it seems a little contradicting to me, mainly your opening remark that true believers will go through the Tribulation, and your closing remark that there will be a taking away or Rapture for all believers but it will be that they may not "endure the Wrath of God before the final destruction of the Enemy.

Can you please explain?

If it helps, Revelation 20:4 is not referring to the church, but unbelievers who were left behind. They rejected the mark of the beast after being persuaded by the angelic preaching of the gospel, and the gospel of the 144,000. They will be beheaded, but they'll be with Christ.

Giannis's comment on 2022-05-01 16:26:17:

Dear Simplebeliever

Please read Luke 21:34-36.

"34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

Pay attention to verse 34. Jesus talks to His disciples. How, we christians, are of a danger to drift away from God and be unprepared due to the cares of this world when during the times of antichrist Christians are going to hide themselves to save their lifes and suffer because they will not accept the mark? How could we have cares at that time? If smd won't accept the mark he could not work, sell or buy. How can then care about this life? Care while suffering and getting beheaded by antichrist? Getting drunk while in danger? Doesn't make sense It is obvious that rapture will occur at some other time when people live an ordinary life.

Also pay attention to verse 36. Jesus tells us to pray to escape from all those sufferings and stand in front of God, not go through them.

HBU

Simplebeliever's comment on 2022-05-01 09:59:37:

Rev. 20 verse 4 makes it totally clear in simple language that true believers will go through Tribulation, refuse the mark of the beast, die by beheading and rule and reign with Christ for 1,000 years. They will not be saved by some movie fable rapture or taken away prematurely. The pre-tribulation rapture is a total Satanic lie that will create the "great falling away" of wannabe believers who will be discouraged when the movies and lies are shown to be wrong . They will have to face the endurance and death of refusing the mark. Satan's followers will not "fall away from Christ" but those weak believers will say the Gospel they were preached must have been a lie ; give up and wear the mark and fall away. Yes there will be a taking away or Rapture for all believers but it will be that they may not "endure the Wrath of God before the final destruction of of the Enemy.

Keep in mind please may it be on earth as it is in Heaven.rnrn Both the quick and the dead shall be judged.rnrnThere are two baptisms one with water and the other by receiving the most blessed of all gift the gift of the Holy Spirit and we die daily in our old ways and by the daily renewing of of our minds learn to become one body in Christ.

A translational error: Hades isn't the same as hell. Hades is the same as the grave. A waiting place for judgement day.

It seems to me that people will have a second chance.. by their works..to enter heaven..by this verse what do you think ?

Darren D's comment on 2010-04-21 10:34:56:

Rev 20:13 the dead are judged by their works not their sins. since he that is dead is freed from
sin.Romans6:7 KJV so think about it, you spent a
short time here on earth.did you use that time to
do the will of god or just your own?

Darren D's comment on 2010-02-13 17:02:36:

the king james bible sure uses the word hell
alot.how could hell give up it's dead to
be judged?if there is a hell to burn people's
spirit forever wouldn't you have to have been
judged already to be there in the first place?
