Glenda, the reference to Jerusalem ("street of that great City": Rev 11:8) is also made to the wicked city of Sodom (Gen 13:13) & wicked country of Egypt (Ezek 23:3; Ex 3:7 ff). This was the state of Jerusalem, for their wickedness not only by the Jewish leaders, but also in the sufferings & death of the Blessed Saviour. Then in Jn 19:17, the reference to Golgotha (place of a skull). Golgotha was in the vicinity of Jerusalem at a skull shaped hill; the Bible also calls this place, Calvary (Lk 23:33). So there is no difference in these portions of Scripture - it is just the different names given to it & also figuratively refers to Sodom & Egypt.

How can revelation chapter 11 verse8 says christ was crucified at. And John 19 verse 17 says it was Golgotha why the difference

Correct translation in last part of verse is "their Lord was crucified ". This means their own Peter, the one crucified by Nero, upside down. They, Rome, deify men, and make them "as gods " to be worshiped and this is where preterist stumble, thinking the translation is "our Lord ". Preterism is a doctrine of Jesuit design to throw the focus of the Historicist view of the Pope 's role as Antichrist.

Jerusalem has never been spiritually as Sodom or Egypt and like some translation talks about "their Lord was crucified" the city is Rome, because Peter is the first pope or Lord of a false religion, Catholics!!
