The Earth Knows That it Will Be Burned Up's comment on 2020-08-08 14:57:02:

2 Peter 3 < link

There is no fixing the Earth. Too many scriptures point to the Lord setting it on fire. Even the Earth is being readied for Jesus's Return, at the 2nd Advent.

*****

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,

and the elements shall MELT with fervent HEAT, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be BURNED up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on FIRE shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent HEAT?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

We think we will suffer no repercussions for the tonnes of plastic we dump into the oceans, the man-made climate change, the overpopulation, the destruction of the forests for greed? We can twist this verse to whatever we want it to mean in order to exculpate ourselves, but it's clear as glass: we will suffer unless we work to end our greed-driven, self-indulgent behavior. It's happening right now. We have to work with God's gifts to us, not destroy them for money. Unfortunately people worship money more than God.

According to this scripture, the bible is clear, it 's talking about those who destroyed the earth. The question is, how can we destroy the earth, well some people can understand it in different ways but let everyone know that the earth is being destroyed by the act of human and their characters. If you contributed in fornication ,you 're part of the people who destroyed the earth, wars destroying the beauty of the earth, all kinds of evil, all those people are part of those who destroyed the earth. Also called sinners who did not turn from their evil ways . Be careful hat you will not be one of them who will be destroyed.

Revelation 11:18 ... and should destroy those who destry the earth. The earth here refers to human beings who destroy their bodies and the Demons that also contributed to this for we are the temple of God and anyone who destroy his or her body God will destroy.

REVELATION 11:18 ....and should destroy those who destroy the earth. THIS VERSE CAN BE USED LEXICALLY AND CONNOTATIVELY i.e THE PHYSICAL EARTH BEING DESTROYED AND THE HUMAN BODY OR TEMPLE BEING USED TO COMMIT SIN.ANYONE THAT DESTROYS HIS BODY BY USING IT TO COMMIT SIN WILL BE DESTROYED INCLUDING GIVING IT TO THE DEVIL AND ALLOWING IT TO BE INHABITED BY DEMONS.

This scripture shows that God takes how the earth is treated personally. He says that he will destroy those who destroy the earth. We should take this warning seriously and treat the earth with respect.

According to the following texts: Gen 8:1 and 1 Thess. 4:16-17, there is no way man can, or certainly will not be permitted to destroy the earth completely. The seasons will continue, and people will be alive on the earth when Jesus touches down for His Second Coming. This does not however stop mankind form trying (through greed, malicious or destructive acts) and they will certainly pay for their reckless behavior. And behold I come quickly and my reward is with me to give every man according as his work shall be - Rev 22:12.
