In response to Mary, I sense a question when you say, I believe I am ready. Talk with your clergy now. I would love to discuss this with you, but there is not enough space. The reason I say that is because I also believed that I was saved and secure, and going to live eternally with Christ. The fact was that I had never totally surrendered my life to the Lord. I no longer believe I am ready for the rapture, I KNOW with certainty. A reverent fear of the Lord is good, but if your fear is stemming from a nagging in your spirit that you may have never been truly born again, that is something more. I so wish I could talk to you at length, because this is life and death. My prayer is that the Lord will make a way for you to speak personally to a doctrinally sound minister now. If I misunderstood your post, I apologize. None of us want to face death, nor the return of our Lord without complete assurance that we are HIS. Love to you in Christ.

Paul Fishman's comment on 2015-05-15 17:35:37:

Doctrinaly this is a key verse which not only Israel has regreted missing the true and real messiah but the rest of the world. All will regret in that last moment for not accepting him as Lord and Savior. In addition the whole rest of the world at that time is now in the time of iron rule and judgement during the Milennial reign of Christ after the Great Tribulation.

With reference to Martin 's question ... How can I get family friends and myself ready for our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ return with out offending anyone? Good for you Martin. Compassion for family, for you know what is is store. Keep hold of that compassion and you will not be an offence. For the scripture itself says that the Gospel will be the offence to those that are perishing. So you are only the vehicle. Give the message well and let the Spirit of God do the work.

Not everyone in the world has a television or iPhone. I believe this will be a miracle that will cause every single person on the planet to literally see Jesus returning, and I believe also that those who are physically blind will be miraculously given sight to see Him return.

Divyanshu Sen's comment on 2014-12-28 20:28:04:

Behold He cometh 'with clouds '. Here with clouds means 'on a cloud ', or 'on his glory ' according to Strong 's dictionary. Here this coming is not for the bride because in 1 Thes. it is written that "that the day of the LORD so cometh as a theif in the night ". And Word cant disagree with Itself. So this coming is not for the Rapture of the Bride. Because the coming for the Rapture is not a public show. And as in reference with Wesley 's note above, he said every eye means Jews in particular shall see Him. As Joseph of old married a gentile bride and when he manifested himself upon his bretheren, his bride was in the palace. So, Joseph of ild is the perfect type of Christ. His bride will also be in the palace of God as a result of rapture and after that Christ will reveal Himself on His jews bretheren. That is the coming which has been talked about in this verse.

Brian LaForce's comment on 2014-08-09 09:18:27:

His coming I believe will be seen through our spiritual eye 's secondly, but at the first our flesh will see and melt with the brightness of Him. Clouds are clouds of saints that 's died and went on first to be forever with Him.

Audu, D.H.'s comment on 2014-05-22 02:34:54:

"Behold He commeth... " is a call to all of mankind to watch out for Jesus second coming in glory to judge the world of sin and for the believers to be careful not to stain their white garments.

Arnold's comment on 2014-01-18 08:03:34:

"he cometh with clouds" - taken from Jer. 4:13, which referred not to YHWH or a Judean messiah, but to a foreign invader.

David's comment on 2013-10-09 03:31:35:

the Seventh Seal has been cracked brothers and sisters. LORD has revealed to us his power through the Holy Spirit, Jesus is here with his children and has brought the Father.. thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The world is as the times of Noah. Faith alone in our Father is the path to awesome miracles of Christ. we must repent of our sins and shine brighter than the world, through Jesus Christ our Savior. the Holy Spirit is at work through His faithfull sons and daughters, miracles and healings, may our sins be forgiven, and our path Holy

Susanna Bryan's comment on 2013-07-14 04:59:33:

I was reminded of this verse today, particularly, the phrase 'every eye will see Him' because there is a big air show in my area and a lot of neighbours were in the street looking up in to the sky in awe and amazement. I felt such a sadness to think that people are looking up at things like this and are not prepared for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ who is coming soon. God bless you.

Paul's comment on 2013-02-16 19:05:26:

The scriptures say "all eyes will see Him" Revelation 1:7, and I believe the WAY that will happen is the SAME WAY "all eyes" saw videos of the meteor in Russia. All it takes is, ONE person holding up his iPhone in the right spot, capturing Jesus second coming, broadcasting that moment LIVE to all 4 corners of the world. Paul.

Behold, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

John Adeleye's comment on 2012-11-22 22:23:32:

Behold, he cometh- it is to all believers and for all believers in Christ. It has a two-fold activity to all Christians to be ready because he cometh and secondly to go out and warn others to join the chariot of expectant waiting for his coming, behold, he cometh.
