If you are a born again Christion, you are in the kingdom of God, and will go up in the Rapture. The kingdom of heaver is the 1,000 year reign of Christ and is for those who make it through the Great Tribulation.

Hi pamela.
Matthew 7:23. And then will I profess unto them, I ( never ) knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The key word in this verse is "never".
You can't loose what you "never" had.
They were "never" a blood bought believer.
You can't loose eternal life, If you have it today and loose it tomorrow it wasn't eternal.
Pamela's comment on 2021-02-22 06:08:38:
If you are a blood bought believer, and keep choosing to sin then you will not be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven. You are not following His Word.

Matt 7:21-29
Keep in mind that God only cares about what's truly and sincerely in our hearts. He doesn't care about what words we say. There is no "magic phrase". We can say "Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus" all day long - If we don't believe in our heart, God doesn't care about it. He doesn't hear it.

I think jesus is saying if u dont ask him for forgivness and do repent he will not know u, THIS IS WHY WE GOTTA ASK HIM INTO OUR HEART. AM I RIGHT? Remember john 3:16

I believe it means exactly what it states, People who believe they are saved because they want to be saved but they are unwilling to REPENT, therefore they are NEVER given power by God to sanctification, justification and hence no glorification, they love the world. Not God creator of the world.

No, he wasn 't talking about Muslims, considering the religion of Islam was not yet established. He was talking about those who claim or even believe they act on behalf of the Lord but by their actions do the opposite. Matthew speaks of those who will ask God to recognize the good works they have done in his name, but they are told to depart because they work iniquity. Iniquity means evil, wickedness. One may believe one is doing His work, but if you spread hatred and anger and sow dissension, you are not. There are countless examples of people who believe they act in God 's name but whose actions are inconsistent with the Gospel. By their fruits shall ye know them.

In other words, to hear Him say to us on "that day " "Well done thy good and faithful servant. " I has to do the will of our Father 100 ? This leaves no room for error, and it scares me. I have been reading and trying to live it, but, I 'm still weak, I 'm human. I am not wanting to hear Him tell me to depart from me, I never knew you " Of course, I, like most want to hear Him say, "well done, thy good and faithful servant. " I guess He wants us to continue striving for the mark, continuing to shed of sin the crud of this world and to put on our "New man. "
