JOSE

Have you ever read Psalms 82?

1 - God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he Judgeth among the gods.

...

6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8 Arise, O God, Judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

And Isaiah 41:v.23 says : - 23 Shew the things that ARE TO COME hereafter, THAT WE MAY KNOW that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, ...

Jose's comment on 2021-07-14 06:51:56:

The bible says that God said "Haven't I said that ye are gods?" the key is little "g". But we do not and will not become God. Jesus said that bigger and better things than he we will do, but still does not make us God.

Amen Jesse Tacker.

I believe that was well put.

God bless.

Earl Bowman's comment on 2021-06-26 14:43:00:

Brother Jesse Tacker, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Hebrews 1:3 Who (Christ) being the brightness of his (the Father's) glory, and the express image of His (the Father's) person, and upholding all things by the word of his (the Father's) power, when he (Christ) by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the majesty on High.

Revelation 3:14 ....The beginning of creation....

Christ was the FIRST MAN and he is GOD. The beginning (the first man) and the ending (the last man).

Psalms 82:6 I (God) have said, Ye are gods, the children of the most high.

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, is it not WRITTEN in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom (CHRIST IN YOU) the word of God came unto; and the scripture cannot be broken;

Christ is CREATING Sons of God; exactly like him, when he is finished we will be gods just as he is.

Romans 8:29 ....To be conformed to the IMAGE of his Son ....

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be IN YOU which was ALSO IN Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be EQUAL WITH GOD.

The saints cannot rule and judge the world without being EXACTLY like God.

Isaiah 32:1 Behold a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgement.

Jesse Tacker's comment on 2021-06-26 10:49:07:

Man is not God. And you won't find that in the bible. The Creator entered into His creation in the form of a man. And is now at the right hand of God the Father. Man is not God. Men don't become God, nor is God in man. Nor are men God. God is only in you if you are born again. Otherwise your father is the devil. You won't find a single verse in the bible having anything to do with becoming God or man being God. We do become "like God" if you are part of Christ's body, meaning you were born again after Jesus' death but before the Great Tribulation.

Carolyn Huff's comment on 2015-07-18 07:04:27:

Repent and seek salvation. .......and with that comes the full care and provision of God.

Yvette's comment on 2015-06-12 03:07:08:

To seek the King and how He operates. His way is the right way. The condition is if we do it His way and keep Him first we wont have to go after things.

Charles's comment on 2015-01-19 03:46:04:

It means doing away with earthly things and self edified wisdom but casting all your burden on God almighty because in Him we are complete

Shemdoe,Stanley's comment on 2014-12-30 03:15:59:

God created us for his own purpose and we are not the one to decide on how to live, to act and behave. So seeking first the kingdom of God is drawing our selves closer to God James 4:8 and he will be closer to us,then we shall know his will and act accordingly. This is the basic issue in christian life.Other things we need will be granted to us as additions. Don 't seek for addition, seek for a basic thing.

Midget's comment on 2014-10-31 23:58:05:

Seek to do His will first, seek to know His Son who is also His righteousness, read and meditate on the word, and whatever else it takes through the power of God the Holy Spirit because we cannot do this on our own and as we do, He will furnish us with whatever and all we would otherwise have been focused our attention on getting or accomplishing.

BiBi Nyamane's comment on 2014-09-01 13:39:24:

Powerful! I must,nt start seeking the all things first, but I must start by seeking His kingdom and His righteousness first before seeking all things. Glory be always His. Amen.

Sammie's comment on 2014-08-30 18:49:50:

It means just what is says, God is to be first, he is righteous, when we as sinners repent and except him as Lord, we are then made righteous by God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is how you get to know God. And all these things..means the desires of your heart, which will be more of the things of God which are spiritual things. Note Psalm 37 4

john's comment on 2014-08-02 06:59:29:

Seek first His purpose and be in right standing with Him all your material benefits will be given to you on a plater of gold.

Bishop Chirandu's comment on 2014-07-19 22:44:47:

Its all about ranking priorities according to importance. Making a scale of preference . Number 1 priority is seeking God 's kingdom and His righteousness. Being saturated by His word and loving Him with all heart will pave way for other needs physically. Formular for an open door seeking God 's kingdom righteousness open door for material needs.

captain juma's comment on 2014-05-22 15:25:28:

when the bible talks of the kingdom of God in matt 6 33,i believe it talks of the rulership of God in our lives. He rules us through his word which are the principles of His kingdom.now before doing anything of our own,we should first know how it is supposed to be done in the kingdom of God through His word.now after seeking to know His will we are able to do it in his righteousness.righteousness simply means 'right ' so we are able to know His will and to do it the right way.now in every principle of God there is a promise and the moment we do it right automatically comes the blessings of God upon us just to fulfil His promises on us.so the easiar way of acquiring Gods blessings is by first knowing His principles, doing them rightly, and that is used as a key to unlock our doors of blessings.we will not require to look for material things,it will only require us to obey God in His word.i.e malach 3 10.and again paul advises timothy in 1st timothy 4 7 10 that, train yourself in godliness for it is of value in every way,as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. yes, because we obey God by living according to his set standards of His kingdom,we will live the best lives here on earth and afterwards we are given eternal life.the thing is,we become lovers of the word of God,we obey it from our hearts, and God will forever reign in us!

Semper Fido's comment on 2014-05-01 13:38:22:

Care for nothing but a relationship with God first and foremost, and your material needs will be met.
