I think that this verse is great verse for us everyone because when I met with my girlfriend then I promise to her that I will never leave her. but now I can understand after the reading Holy Bible , Mathew 5:37. we should to talk just yes or no ... according to the Holy Bible....

It is important to say what we mean and stick by what we say. If we say we are going to do something, we should make sure we do all we can to fulfill our words.

How can we make promises when we don't even know what the next second holds in our life? Father is all knowing only he knows what our future holds. How presumptuous it would be for us to pretend to know the future when only our Father knows!
