Jesus was sent to heal the broken-hearted. Man's heart broke away from God when tempted by the serpent. Man is born broken-hearted. Jesus was sent to heal the broken-hearted. Man's heart broke in the Garden of eden, his heart can be healed by Jesus Christ.
