If you continue in my word..

Sadly the greatest sermon given by our Messiah Yeshua Jesus of Nazareth goes ignored as commands

Each command honors the one command given to Adam in the Garden of Eden (clarified Gen 3;22)

Yet like Yeshuas commands, Adams sin goes ignored&unrepented

(This is not by accident)

If you love me you will obey me "then" my father will love you because he loves me and will make his home in you!

Let those who hear, hear the word of God..

Don't be deceived whom you obey is your Lord&God!

Why call me Lord and not do as I command?

John

My word means Jesus himself John 1:1 & 14 . And also John 6:63 says Lords word's has Life and Spirit in it but not in the words (Doctrines) of a man. So when we remain in the word's of our Lord Jesus Christ. then we shall know (Understand) The Truth and the Truth will deliver us.

Thus, it comes down to this: Is discipleship a condition for salvation, or is discipleship a chosen path of commitment that some saved persons pursue while other saved persons do not?....To those believing saved Jews, Jesus says, If you continue abide or remain in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. Those who are willing to pay the price of discipleship are truly disciples not merely pupils, but engaged adherents of Christ s teaching. These are the ones whose works for Christ will survive the testing furnace at the Judgment Seat. While others will be saved, yet so as by fire, these true disciples will be rewarded for their fruitfulness. We can, therefore, conclude that while all disciples are believers, not all believers are disciples.

Rev Ifeanyi's comment on 2013-08-03 02:38:29:

The word "if" is very obvious. This is a word that introduces condition. The true condition for knowing a true disciple is " if" the person does continue in the teachings of Jesus. It is not enough to be in a programme, cry, kneel, and ask for mercy if we cannot leave the programme and continue in his teachings.
