God sanctified us in Jesus Christ. A new creature, a clean thing out of an unclean.

"But God commanded his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).

"And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;" (Ephesians 2:1).

He washed us clean with the blood of Lord Jesus.
