The appointed day is their birthday. Job, did not think his children had sinned. He prayed and made sacrifices just in case they sinned. He did not want to leave anything to chance. Satan is/was a son of God. Just like we have good and bad children, God has a bad angel, but unlike us God can handle his business. Job never blamed God. When his wife tried to get Jog to curse/blame God, he told her to get behind me satan. There are times in most of our lives when we may feel, "I wish I was never born", but that does not mean we blame God for anything. Sometimes we are just plain tired of the fight, but, if we stay in Christ and keep the Faith He will renew our strength. Hallelujah!!! Job was an upright and perfect man. That was said by God himself, I have not seen where it is said Job was a strong man, never the less he was strong. Could you have bared those sores all over your body along with all your losses? This book of Job to me is FAITH, STRENGTH, HUMBLENESS, HUMILITY and a TESTIMONY all wrapped in one book. Thank You Jesus.

Job was a man who did what was require of God. He walk away from his flesh or the desires of others to do the will of God. This is the foundation of how men and women can stand in the tough times. Surely remember tough times has to come; it is just the way its. Job gave his heart to God and nothing else mattered.
This is my thoughts of Job 1:1
