The Bb and His disciple were suspended by ropes from a nail in the wall, the head of Mirza Muhammad-'Ali resting on the breast of the Bb. Seven hundred and fifty soldiers were positioned in three files. Roofs of the buildings around teemed with spectators.
Each row of soldiers fired in turn. The smoke from so many rifles clouded the scene. When it lifted the Bb was not there. Only His disciple could be seen, standing under the nail in the wall, smiling and unconcerned. Bullets had only severed the ropes with which they were suspended. While the Holy Spirit is still here, we should pray often to the Lord of the Harvest; to send workers into the Harvest. Jesus got off alone frequently to pray alone. That's where you receive your power: on your knees.
Don't leave home without it. In street ministry it's very hard to spend time talking to someone if the Holy Spirit has not been drawing that person to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. He can arrange a Divine appointment; but we are the feet, the hands, the compassion who participates in that appointment.
Prayer and intercession are necessary. A life is being touched by our Savior. He prays 24/7, all over the world, every day.
If you hit a goat on its head, it will try to head butt you back. I think the woman who went to the well to draw water is a good example of witnessing. The Holy Spirit had given a word of knowledge about that woman's life. Because of her joy, her whole village got saved too! And... they were Gentiles!
Jesus is a perfect example of how prayer and partnering with the Holy Spirit, bears abundant harvest. I set myself to learn HOW does Jesus win the lost, so successfully? And this is what works.

This verse absolutely holds a warning to not just ancient Irael, but present-day America! We were established on God and have rejected him. His hedge of protection has been removed from our borders and we are ignoring His warnings. Our responses continue to be defiance and arrogance.
