Regarding Celine's question on Genesis 6:3: The 120 years may be referring to the time from the moment the Lord spoke those words until the flood commenced.

Wondering how to reconcile the years of man: in Gen 6 it's 120yrs but in Psalm 90 it's 70 yrs. And although some say it was pre-flood and post flood--do you have any other thoughts why?

Thanks.

Why isn't this verse being associated with Israel's rebirth Mathew 24:34, along with Jesus' comment regarding "as in the days of Noah" in Mathew 24:37. Additionally, Daniel 12:4 says "knowledge will increase" and Daniel 12:10 says "the wise shall understand." Modern Biological, medical, and Nutritional experts say human body can live 120 years when taken care ofproperly.

There is a time for judgement to those who rejects the truth. Just as Noah build the ark and the flood came. Jesus is coming back then after that the judgement

@Ronald Allen, . (regards to Jubilees), . I get 7000 years from the birth of Adam till judgement (by a different route I think) but it seems (since prophecy is foggy anyway) , That in the way I get there, we are in the last 1000 years, we are that generation.

I really would like to know the correct translation to the two separate ideals of "also is flesh", and or "man is flesh" . .

(the lord said my spirit will not always strive with man)I've been fortunate enough to have the presence of the spirit of god in me for many months and then not. what its means to me in my life is that god is showing me or reminding me that he's the light, not me

the light, not me

Evang. E, Williams's comment on 2013-09-12 07:24:05:

Since God is full of grace and mercy, he has lots of patience with mankind. He doesn't always send his wrath upon disobedience right way. He gives mankind time to repent. But eventually God says enough is enough.

Ronald Allen's comment make sense to me, I think maybe God is in the process of withdrawing his spirit from this world at this time, a day is as a thousand years, so we may be in the latter part of the last day. I think it is getting late for everyone.

Ronald Allen's comment on 2012-03-15 01:07:40:

There is always a reason for everything God does, and giving a 120 yrs reprieve before judgement was passed upon man and all life destroyed, gave Noah time to build the ark, but could the 120 years also refer to time allocated until our final judgement? Let me explain, a jubalee is a time of renewal and forgiveness or a new beginning, and a jubalee is once every 50 years, so could it be that mans allotted time before Christ returns be 120 jubalees, or 6000 years? He said we don't know the day or the hour, only the Father knows but those who are Christians would know the time or season of his return, and we are actually in the 120th jubalee which ends 2023 on the feast of trumpets.
