Any part of scripture can be taken out of context but I believe this particular statement is a real challenge for each Christian to recognise that the new creation we are in Christ owes all to Christ, and that the only good in each and every one who has been saved is Christ Jesus. The wretched old self has been crucified with Christ and the New self is only complete in Christ. I who am nothing can never think of my self so highly to boast my self above or better or more deserved than any one else and I can never assume what kind of a person someone is by how they follow there Christian walk denomination or religious practise. Christ Jesus in John 10v14 tells us that He is the Good Shepherd and that he has chosen His Flock, there will only be one flock. Those who think they are something when they are nothing are deceiving themselves.

WHAT THIS SCRIPTURE IS SAYING IS THIS THAT IF YOU ARE SO FILLED WITH PRIDE THAT YOU FOR ANY REASON THAT YOU ARE SOMETHING THST YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS ON YOUR OWN YOU ARE A LIAR BECAUSE WE ASLL NEED HELP AT DIFFERENT TIME SITUATION WHATEVER THE CASE MAY BE ONLY CHRIST HAS THE ABILTY TO DO ALL THINGS ON HIS OWN AND NEEDS NOT HELP FROM ANOTHER
